A Home Away from Home with Spectacular Views This is not just a vacation rental – it’s our second home. We have spent years creating a space that is both functional and welcoming, ensuring it meets the needs of families and professionals alike. The lanai offers uninterrupted ocean views, where you can spot whales (in season), monk seals, tropical fish, and the iconic Hawaiian sea turtles that frequent the shoreline. Whether you’re relaxing on the lanai, lounging on the couch, or resting in bed, the stunning scenery is always in sight. Designed for Families and Remote Workers Our daughter, who grew up here, has handpicked toys that she happily shares with young guests. A baby crib is available, along with plenty of space for little explorers. Workation guests will feel right at home, as we have designed the apartment to support remote work. There are multiple workspaces both indoors and on the lanai, high-speed internet, and excellent mobile network coverage, thanks to a nearby cell tower. If you’ve ever dreamed of working from the beach, this is the place to do it! A Safe and Secluded Beach The beach in front of the apartment is one of the safest and most family-friendly on the island. The water remains shallow for over 100 meters, so adults only reach chest depth at that distance. A protective reef creates calm waters, making it perfect for snorkeling. Since there is no public parking nearby, the beach is primarily used by residents, ensuring a quiet and safe environment. Sustainable Comfort – Naturally Cool To support sustainability, our apartment does not have air conditioning. However, its beachfront location ensures a constant breeze, and with open windows, traditional Hawaiian jalousie windows, and a ceiling fan, the temperature remains comfortable year-round. The lanai is designed to be wind-protected, allowing for uninterrupted work or relaxation. Even with the windows closed, the apartment stays peaceful and cool. Exclusive Access & Community Amenities The apartment and lanai are exclusively yours, providing a private retreat with direct beach access. For urgent matters, a local contact is available, and we are always happy to assist with any questions during your stay. Due to Hawaii’s tropical climate, regular pest control is essential. A monthly pest control service is conducted, and we appreciate when guests participate to help keep the apartment in top condition. Additional Information Security: The building is monitored 24/7 with security cameras in common areas and outdoor spaces. A resident manager or security staff is always on-site. Convenience: The Hauula shopping center is just a few minutes away by car, offering grocery stores, printing, faxing, and mailing services. The post office is only 10 minutes away. Laundry: Washing machines and dryers are available on the 4th and 6th floors, payable by cash or the PayRange app. Beachfront Conditions: Due to the direct oceanfront location, metal items such as mirrors or exhaust fans may develop rust from the salt air. This little condo was perfect for my two kids and me to stay at during spring break. Check in was easy and the explanation was simple. The bed was comfortable and there was a twin bed set up for the kids, but the kids slept in the main bed with me. There are curtains to help separate the bedroom from the living room to help keep the light out. The kitchen is well stocked and there is multiple coffee makers (because coffee is life!). Access to the pool and beach was AMAZINGLY easy. They are so close and private. There is a breakwater so the waves are really small making it perfect for swimming and little ones with lots of trees for shade when the sun gets too hot. There are even sand toys, a chair, coolers, snorkel masks, and towels provided. If you need a break or are travelling, this is the BEST place to stay! We will definitely be back! ##### Amanda R. We are home now and I’m still not completely sure our time at Alohacation was real! The condo has everything needed for a couple or small family - and a whole lot of wonderful surprises as well. I particularly loved the open air living that the louvered windows and screen door to the lanai provided. The sound of the surf was a nervous system regulating constant and sleep was deep. The comfortable mattress also helped with that (no jiggling from sleep companions).Alex and Fabienne have updated the condo with care and attention. The space has a simple elegance that is also functional. Hooks exactly where one would need to hang a towel. A stock of bag clips and containers to store leftovers. Three kinds of coffee prep (French press, pour over, and drip). We didn’t need of the toys as my daughter is 14, but she commented that if she were a little kid she’d have loved them. After a few days of exploring we realized that the best beach was “our” beach right at the condo and spent more time there. Meditating near sea turtles basking, snorkeling with the humuhumus, and spotting a monk seal off shore were our favorite experiences.
