It looks a little dated but I think its part of the charm! Its like stepping back in time compared to contemporary looking hotels. Staff was very helpful and attentive and the room I was in was nice and clean! Definitely worth a look!

The hotel was clean, cozy and inviting. My only complaint is we had to ask for clean towels, toilet paper and trash bags. We were there for 3 days and didn’t have maid service. Other than that, it was a really nice place to stay with kids.

The people were nice but the place needs to change housekeeping. Our room was only done once in four days, despite hanging the card to have the room made up on the door. We had to chase down housekeeping multiple times. Often they would be sitting in other rooms on their phones when we found them. Also, the carpet is filthy in the rooms and every time we showered they water would turn black (we were barefoot in the room the first two days, but not after that). The location is excellent and the reception staff is quite nice. Breakfast was also good.

A completely excellent hotel. I would live here. Staff A+. Room A+. Cleaning A+ Reception and its quirky but professional amenities A+ It is even in the 'town centre' so local shops etc are on your door step. The pure luck of finding this place was luck indeed.
