Fun Downtown Location 2nd flr

A stylish comfortable well appointed apartment in a 125 year old 2 family home. A Back yard with a picnic table, fire pit, hammock and other seating surrounded by perennial gardens and flower pots. All only steps away from a quaint New England Downtown with a few dozen restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Including a brewery, arcade bar, axe throwing, escape room, coffee roaster and chocolate shop. As well as art spaces, a Homestead museum, rails to trails and several fairs and festivals. Located in the center of the state you have easy access all Connecticut has to offer. In an hour15 to 2 hours you can take a day trip to NYC, Boston, The Cape, Berkshire mountains, Providence and New Port RI. The whole first floor is it depicted in the pictures, they will be made available as soon as the rooms are done.
Less than 10 minutes to Lake compounds amusement park, Bear Creek camp ground, ESPN and Mount Southington. Centrally located in the center of the state, 30 minutes from Hartford or New Haven. Less than two hours to NYC, Boston, Cape Cod Providence or Newport, RI beaches. Or is history or thing enjoy all that the constitution state has to offer or you can just enjoy the back yard with a picnic table, plenty of seating and a comfortable hammock.

A Great Place to Stay

Spacious, clean and well appointed. Three generous bedrooms and a large kitchen. Weather was too cold to use it, but the enclosed porch is lovely. Several new appliances, very clean linens.

This place is amazing. It has just such a homey feel to it. My 2 year son and I stayed here and he absolutely loved it and to me it just felt like a nice comfort, home environment and when you’re traveling that’s all you really want is a place that makes you feel at home and that’s what you get when you stay here.

Apple Harvest Festival

We visited Southington for the Apple harvest festival. This was a perfect location, walking distance to everything dealing with the festival. Great barbecue joint across the street. Jim, the host was great very friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Me and some friends were staying here to help with another friends’ wedding, and it was absolutely perfect! This property is a remodeled older house. With all that old house charm. It is spacious and has three bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The couch is extremely comfortable and it was great watching TV and sipping wine.

Great stay!

We stayed 3 weeks at Jim's house. It's centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants, bars and a walking trail. The house was nicely decorated and had a well-stocked kitchen. Jim is an excellent host and it was was very easy to communicate with him. We recommend staying here.
