We arrived as a family with two teenage boys and a dog in tow. We were met by the owner who was so friendly and greeted us at the cottage to show us around. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed for a self catering holiday; really well kitted out. There were special touches everywhere to make us feel welcome. The location had amazing views and had the most gorgeous sunsets followed by wonderful starry skies! The nearest beautiful beach Llandanwg is less than 10 minutes by car with Harlech beach just a bit further which was just stunning. We visited Barmouth, Porthmadog, Ffestiniog Railway and Zipworld to name a few which were in easy distance of the cottage by car. The cottage was warm and cosy after swimming in the sea each day and our boys and dog absolutely loved it. We have booked to return next year and will now join everyone else who repeatedly returns to this special little place owned by equally special people. Fantastic stay at Beudy Hen. We loved the peaceful setting, only noise were the sheep. Only 2 mins drive to central Harlech where there are a few local shops and takeaways. Loads of amazing places to visit, but the beach at Harlech couldnt be beaten. Mr and Mrs Evans were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even allowing our 8 year old to explore in all the fields and stream. The home is really well stocked. Would love to come back.
