The room was spacious and the view of Hanoi was gorgeous from the large windows in the room. Food options were convenient by foot from the location.the room was quite comfortable and clean but the building, in general, could use maintenance. Chipped paint on the walls and malfunctioning buttons for the elevator were small annoyances. We reserved the 2 bedroom executive, big bed rooms, big sala, 2 toilet and bath. Kitchen also has complete utencils and kitchen equipments, you can easily cook your own food. Also provided water dispencer with 5 gallons of water, more than enough for our 3 days stays. Washing machine is also available, so there's no worry it you have limited clothes during your stay. The hotel staff are very patient and kind. The pool is a nice treat and the gym is great! Clean ,comfortable , staff very efficient . The rooms were so spacious and had a full kitchen in ours so bedroom was separate to living / kitchen area . Beds so comfy too. Swimming pool ,of 20 meters , was a winner to do a few laps in at the end of the day. Breakfast had not bad Asian choices which we don't mind! We stayed at somerset Hoa Binh Hanoi first 2 nights and then 1 on our return. A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff who went out of their way for us. Arriving early on the train both times we were able to have an early check in! The rooms were huge which includes kitchens and laundry facilities ! Just wounderful and this was just the studio room!! The resident lounge was great to use after check out with tea and coffee facilites . The swimming pool (20 meters long) was a great place to spend after a day out and also a nice warm spa was available . Even though we were 25 min out if the old quarter by taxi it is not expensive getting into town. Cost if this hotel is favourable when comparing quality with the others. Also the breakfast at Highlands restaurant was quite good if you like local cuisine !
