Great place to stay, tucked away on a busy street, but our room was on the backside and very quiet. Was fun to walk out onto a bustling scene everyday. The staff were outstanding, kind, helpful. Linda helped us book an outing to Lan Ha; Chloe and Cha were just wonderful. One thing: Expedia lists a pool at this property. There isn’t one.

BED BUGS!! We checked in and service was good. Your bags are not secure if you drop them off while waiting for a room to be ready. We took a shower as soon as we got in our room and noticed black mold coming out of the jets in the tub. Then as we walked to the patio door, we noticed black mold around the caulking of the door. Then we found BED BUGS on our mattress!! Went downstairs and found the lobby with all the lights off and staff sleeping in the lobby couch. Asked for another room but they were entirely full. They were nice enough to come change out our sheets. But then we noticed underneath the mattress was filthy dirty. We asked if we can just pay for the first night and get a refund for the other 3 nights but they refuse to give us the refund. HOW DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE!? Your room is filthy dirty and infested with bed bugs but we still have to pay for it? Its called luxury but it has zero things luxury about it.

Great property for location and staff attentiveness. Linda was great and helped us book an overnight Halong bay trip which is a MUST. Great dining options around the hotel and everything is in walking distance. We stayed in 2 Different rooms before and after our overnight cruise and Linda upgraded us for a discounted rate and gave us a complimentary breakfast! Thanks Linda, Saffron and team for making our stay in Hanoi so memorable.

Google Room was clean & well equipped. Theres a small gym on the seventh floor. Location was super convenient, in the center of the old quarter, close to the night market and many restaurants. What made the stay exceptional was the staff. Saffron was friendly, attentive and super helpful. Made us feel very welcomed and so did the rest of the staff. They also arranged airport drop-off for us which was super convenient. (recommend doing that rather than getting a taxi). Would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Hanoi.

This is an amazing hotel with exceptional value and a wonderful location. We got there mid-afternoon and the front desk gave us a full overview of the city and where to go, which was really wonderful. We were only supposed to stay there one night, then go to the Halong Bay, but my husband got terrible food poisoning that night. The hotel worked with us to provide us with a room, then even moved some things around so my husband didn't have to move rooms. I was extra grateful this sickness happened in this extremely comfortable and lovely hotel. Would most definitely recommend!

This is a very nice property in a good location. All staff was very helpful except the staff member looking after the morning breakfast. A little more effort would have been nice. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again. Location is great close to everything.

Great location....rooms are Adequate! The fold up cot stored in the lobby was an eyesore and in the way and the breakfast staff and food were less than stellar! Front desk was great and helpful re cabs and we were allowed to leave baggage when we went away on an overnight trip which is very important in this region. They do need to fumigate in the breakfast room to ensure there are no ants around food.

Perfectly located in Old Quarter for seeing the sights in Hanoi which are walkable from the hotel. Literally hundreds of options for food and local markets. The staff could not have been more helpful, lovely people. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel in Old Hanoi
We picked old Hanoi because lots of choices of restaurants, not a far walk to the Prison. Our room was comfortable, however, the bed was against the wall on one side, thus made it difficult to get out of the bed, plus it was low to the floor. AC worked great, breakfast, you could get eggs to order. Several places to take your laundry within w@lking distance from hotel. The staff wanted to please you.

Nice staff, but bad experience
They mixed up my reservation with someone else's and made me move room several hours after checking in. Did not apologize. I don't understand because they took a copy of my passport and saw my name. At first, they argued that I only booked 3 nights instead of 7. I had to show them proof, which they didn't believe. This is not the way to treat customers in my opinion. When I wanted to upgrade, they wanted me to pay more than if I had booked online.

The Executive Suite is a very comfortable and classy room to live in! I really love the hanging decorations they designed and the balcony view is nice. They prepared the wine and plenty of snacks on the table. I wanted to give this a full 5 stars but I was hold because the lady receptionist was not friendly (no smile) upon our arrival. The balcony floor is quite dusty. The water temperature sometimes can be hot and cold abruptly.

Excellent hotel, great price. Staff was very friendly, kind, and helpful. Breakfast was pretty basic, not many options and there was no staff around, but eventually someone came out and asked if I wanted anything, so I asked for an omelette, which they made for me. The location is excellent, it is right in the middle of all the action in Old Quarter, so lots to do and see in the area. Can easily walk from the hotel and just wander around the town. Great area, very interesting. Lots of food, shops, even the lake and water puppet theatre, all nearby and easily within walking distance. The hotel is newer and in great shape, and everything was very clean. It was cheaper than most hotels in the area and for the price I think this was a great deal. The room was small but cozy, and there was a smart TV so I was able to watch netflix and amazon prime! My only issues were that there is no parking available at the hotel, and the staff made me take my motorbike down the street and pay to park instead of leaving it out front overnight. But it is very close by, an easy walk of only 1-2 minutes, and very cheap to park overnight, only 40k VND. Not a big deal. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great value for the money and overall a great stay.

The property itself was fine and the reception staff were great. Breakfast ran until 10am and the person on duty clearly wasn’t in a good mood and was not that friendly. The job was done, but not with a smile and most things had almost run out at 9.30 so it was necessary to request more juice, more coffee etc

Excellent hotel
Excellent customer service from all staff. Staff will even come right out of the hotel to help unload luggage etc on arrival on the street without any prompting. Only minor issue for me to give one notch less than perfect score is that the water pressure on the highest floors tend to be a little unstable, ie this causes the shower to have cyclical hot and cold moments. So best to be careful and not turn on the shower to be too warm else you may get a scalding.

The room was beautiful with a large balcony. Hotel itself was gorgeous and staff incredibly friendly. Breakfast was included and was okay, similar to other hotels throughout vietnam. Location was great, close to bars, restaurants etc. Would go back here.

We have stayed at the property before and this time we chose to upgrade to a better room but we were disappointed with the room. The walls had mould on them and there was mould around the window and the room felt damp. We mentioned this to the front desk and they were aware of the issue but didnt seem concerned about it. We asked if there was a possibility to move rooms and the lady said she would look into it but we never heard any more about it. We probably wouldn't stay there again.

On our arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a Deluxe Room and given tips about where to go and what to do in Hanoi by the Manager. The hotel happily minded our luggage overnight while we went on a cruise around Howlong Bay and on our return were given another upgrade to a Suite for the remainder of our stay. Staff were all so friendly and helpful and we highly recommend this hotel!
