It is tucked inside an alley but don't let that get in the way of thinking that any standards were compromised. The location is superb - about 15 min to Old Quarter and there is great shopping nearby. It is also close to a few major embassies, so it is safe and walkable, even late at night. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet at night. The hosts are wonderful and will go out of their way to help you. Photos in the booking was actual. There is no washing machine or dryer in the apartment, however, there is a washing machine outside on the roof at level 6\. Dryer is inside level 6\. Washing machine and dryer always in use as used to wash bedding in the complex.No railing or rack to hang clothes to dry on the balcony. No table or chairs on balcony. There is only 1 small pot for the stove and no other cooking vessels. No rice cooker. The complex is 6 floors. 2 apartments per floor on split level. Entrance on quiet lane and balcony looked into lane. For us this was suitable.
