Communication was not good. Tried to message the host via the Expedia app, but did not get a response. The number on Expedia was a local number, so couldn't contact them via WhatsApp. Had to Google the name and found them on another social media platform and messaged them. Even after messaging them, they were only quick at replying that they can't give a refund. When I asked about other things, such as a WhatsApp number, how to check-in, they would reply very late. When we arrived in the evening, there was no one, and only a local number. Had to call them via Messenger so they could open the door. The person at reception also sounded rude. When we went into our room, there were not enough towels, mould around the kitchen area, no water or kettle to boil water, room was smaller and less cleaner than the photos on Expedia. The bathroom door was also broken (can only lock it from the outside, so you have to ask someone to lock the door for you when showering and unlock it when you want to come out...).
