This two bedroom, one bath spot is located two walkable blocks from the main downtown area full of wonderful restaurants, boutique shops, bars, salons, coffee shops, & much, much more. Interior space is composed of a spacious living room & kitchen as well as two bedrooms, one full bathroom & laundry area. The living room features a 55-inch 4K flatscreen that is Roku-ready for all your favorite streaming apps powered by newly available fiberoptic internet service/WiFi. The kitchen is fully stocked with all modern appliances so you are ready no matter if you are dining in or eating out at over 20 restaurants nearby. Also included: Coffee station with complimentary coffee, few breakfast bars for on the go, a couple bourbons at the bar, as well as a few beers from our local brewery- Gnarly Barely! Both bedrooms feature a comfy sealy mattresses (1 King & 1 Queen) as well as Roku-ready flatscreens . The full bathroom features funky hexagon tile floors and classic subway tile in the tub/shower combo as well as a hairdryer and some minor toiletries available that you may have forgotten. Laundry room provides free use of washer/dryer with detergent and fabric sheets provided. Iron/Ironing board also available. You will have the entire unit to yourself as well as private fenced in yard area on the exterior. This 80 year old structure has recently been renovated completely from head to toe with updated amenities throughout the entire space! This location is fairly quiet however our downtown has several events throughout the year that bring live music and dancing in the streets! Feel free to ask for information on upcoming events that may be happening at the time of your stay! Hammond is the perfect combination of small town with the conveniences of a larger city! This location is 9 blocks from SELU campus. Enjoy college sporting events, walking paths, numerous festivals and events throughout the year as well as a farmer's market on Saturday. Street and parking lots are free and public (first come/first serve). Loading and unloading for our space can be done at the front door right in our driveway with ease. The Farmer's market is every Saturday morning next to the post office until noon! Our family rented both the Nicholas and the Christian House to be close to family for a funeral. Our unit was super cute, well stocked, and had beautiful design choices. The beds were really comfortable! Great touch with a snack bowl for a welcome. We loved the walkability of cute coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. We loved that our puppy was able to join us on this trip and had a fenced in yard to play in!Only thing worth noting was that we didn’t realize we were so close to a train station and busy street. It was not the end of the world and we appreciate the ear plugs. The pros and comfort far outweighed the noise level at times.
