"Very convenient location .We walked to get pizza for lunch and then soft serve ice cream at ice cream and candy shop . Staff was very welcoming and smiling . Property need some renovation. Having car infront of the room is a great feature on this property. We had a great experience for our family getaway weekend . Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something low key southern vibe with sea shells 😊"

"If you like to fish, boat and want direct access to the highway then this place is OK but if you care about house maintence, quality furniture and fixtures, cleanliness and road noise then think twice. This is an old property for sure as stated in the listing and the floor is squishy in many places and should be repaired. I'm not going to list all the problems we had but I've addressed them with the host and hope he follows up for the comfort of future guests. He was also responsive to our cleanliness issues and did refund our cleaning fee since we spent much of our first day cleaning and sanitizing. "

"They lied about the pool being open. Missing tiles throughout the hotel. Multiple bugs in corners, the shower didn't drain. Seems like they let everything go due to renovations starting soon."

"This was a perfect break for our weekend getaway. Pet was very happy as were week. Cute shops very close by, nice places to walk. The deck is incredible. Nice place to wake up to. "

"It would have been better to have more than 2 cups for the coffee machine. It would have been nice to have an electric tea pot to boil water for tea or a french press coffee maker. the microwave is not the best to boil water. It was a good idea to use an old store front for a small apartment. The restaurant next store was nice for breakfast and being on the water was nice. I would replace the two bar stools and table with a round table and chairs, it would be easier to use."

"The most charming and cozy cottage right on the river with beautiful sunrises! The host communicated frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The coffee nook was an added bonus. It was in a perfect spot to travel to Emerald Isle or to enjoy downtown Swansboro. "

"Wonderful location and updated interior. We will absolutely be staying here again. We loved the pink kitchen, hot tub, enclosed porches, fireplace, and fishing dock. The host was very responsive and kind. Highly recommend. "

"First of all, fantastic communication with the owners! The cottage could not have been more perfect or better suited for our needs! We had the best, relaxing stay. Cottage is close to everything but tucked away just enough to feel serene and private. All amenities were perfect and exceptionally clean. Cannot wait to stay here again! "

"Stayed for 4 nights. The house was very clean and well laid out. The area surrounding the pool is spacious with a lot of seating options. The golf cart was great and we used it to go to the coffee shop in town each morning. House is convenient to shops and restaurants in Swansboro. The host was very quick to respond to our questions and we will be coming back to the area later this year and will definitely book Boro Bungalow again. "
