  • Spacious upstairs 3 bedroom home with every amenity you could wish for.
    The huge kitchen is beautifully crafted from recycled rimu, and is a pleasure to use.
    The large open plan lounge area has a wonderful outlook through picture windows over magnificent trees and housing.
    The dining room seats at least eight people around a beautiful antique kauri dining table. French doors open from the dining room onto the large private & quiet decking area. This area is fully fenced and surrounded by trees and gardens.
    A large double bedroom has French doors opening onto the deck.
    Another double bedroom, and a single bedroom enjoy the elevated views from large windows. The home enjoys all day sun.

Absolutely loved our stay! The home was beautiful, warm, clean and had great amenities. The check in process was easy and smooth and our host had excellent comms and was so lovely and welcoming. The location was really handy and so close to the city but also felt far away as it was quiet and felt homely and suburban. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was beautiful and there were toys and books for our toddler. Couldn’t recommend this home highly enough! Will definitely be trying to rebook next time we’re in the Waikato!

Jan’s beautiful house was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and had a fully equipped kitchen. Jan made us feel more than welcome with her hand written notes and even asking which type of milk and bread we would prefer prior to our arrival. Her communication is excellent. The house had everything we needed with nothing to fault. The garden was also stunning and despite it raining our stay was lovely.

Lovely home and location. Jan was a helpful and friendly host. We really enjoyed our two night stay and would recommend. Short walk into Hamilton centre. Jan had kindly filled the fridge with milk, bread, marmalade, jam, etc etc. A very nice touch. I think the kitchen was better equipped than our one at home! Lovely garden area for sitting and eating.

Really great space - large kitchen with everything you'd need, lovely long dinning table, really comfy armchairs and couches - all perfect for chatting and catching up.Bedrooms and beds were comfortable. Older home, but very well maintained. Lots of light into the home which can make it hot during the day, but quickly cools down with open windows and fans. Close to downtown. Jan is a great Host and has quick communication.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious accommodation, especially because of the wonderfully warm and welcoming owner who lives in the ground-level suite. The beautifully landscaped backyard stretching the length of the house is such a nice place to relax after the day's activities. Also, the house is so well-stocked, everything and more you could possibly want. Super clean, comfortable, big enough for a family to stay. We highly, highly recommend this as your stay when in Hamilton. Again, many thanks to Jan, such a lovely host.

Great and lovely place

Stayed at the property with my family for my graduation and loved our stay there as it was a beautiful house inside and out! The host Jan was very accommodating and nice and we really appreciate that. Would choose to stay here again if my family is visiting again coming to Hamilton again.

Fantastic Place To Stay

I have stayed in a number of Book a Bach properties over the years but this was the best ever. The owner was fantastic, the house was amazing with all the little extra's I have never experienced before; there was milk, our preferred bread waiting with chocolates and chocolate biscuits even. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again.

This is a great place to stay in Hamilton. Just across the river from the CBD and only about a 2 minute walk from the river. House was very quiet and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with required equipment, plus our host left us fruit juice, bread, milk and condiments on our arrival. The house has a beautiful courtyard that is very private. The beds were comfortable and the living areas spacious. Our host, who lives downstairs, was really friendly and helpful, even lending us a picnic blanket for one of our day trips. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If we return to Hamilton, we know where to stay!!
