"The room was gorgeous! Bravo for the elevated and tasteful decor. The exterior does need a little facelift here and there as it is an older hotel, but there is a "classic," old Hawaii charm about it. Bell Attendant was a bit pushy when we did not let him take our bags before check in - asking repeatedly - when guaranteed check in was only 30min out. Other than that, the staff at the Veranda was so nice and cheerful and dinner at Arancino was amazing. This is a great option to stay outside of Waikiki."

All in all we would give this property a 9.9. The only thing that could make this property better is a pool, but with the ocean right out front who needs a pool. The property management team was top notch to work with and prompt in responding to questions. We had a great time and will definitely be returning."
