"Eileen Isay was the perfect central location for us to explore Isle of Skye. Dunvegan Castle, Fairy Pools, prehistoric Brochs, hiking in the Cuillins and our favourite hike The Quiraing. Absolutely jaw dropping scenery and magic weather all week. The cottage was ideal for us, cosy, warm, very comfy bed and everything we needed. Every evening we sat by the bay window and watched the amazing sunsets, all of which made our Golden Anniversary a very memorable one. Thankyou Marion!"

"We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. "

"Hugh's house was so homey and comfortable! AMAZING views all around, sheep to watch out back. While remote, it's close to many famous trails and a cafe nearby. While unmarked and a white car sits next to (we thought someone was in it), pay attention to the pics and map. We went mid-May and us visitors were already picking up. "Objekt und Lage wie in Anzeige beschrieben, Sehr schön, super ausgestattet, hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Sehr gute Idee mit dem Feldstecher in der Küche und dem Vogelbestimmungsbuch. Eine schöne Beschäftigung bei Ebbe. Den Ofen haben wir mit dem vorhandenen Holz nicht angefeuert bekommen. Wegen der Heizung war es aber trotzdem warm. Übergabe war ohne persönlichen Kontakt, was wir schade fanden."

"Annie’s cottage is in a lovely terrace, great for kids as there’s a fantastic playground a minute away. The rooms are all good sizes and well decorated. The house is a little damp and could do with updating in some parts but overall we had a great stay in Skye."

I definitely plan to go back! My only tiny issue was on VRBO and cottages.com, that manages it, there was no reminder email sent before check in with details and no way to communicate with anyone. I followed the instructions for check in as listed, but if I had needed to arrive late or anything like...

"The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was amazing with easy walking to village center. Great local craft show on Tuesdays, the Glendale Village Shop had wonderful local foods, and we could watch seals and otters along the coast of The Little Minch. Easy drives to many great sites on the isle. Great place to stay!"
