Romantic Getaway

The cabin was perfectly located, it was well used but close enough to local attractions. We drive up to Penn State for a lacrosse game and the drive was super easy. The cabin was everything we needed for a weekend recharge.

We absolutely love this little cabin and where it is located. The hot tub is wonderful. This was our second time renting the cabin. I can’t wait to go back.

Peaceful &Private

The cottage was lovely, very private and peaceful. Would recomend 100 times over. The bed was very comfortable, the hot tub was very clean and ready for use when we got there. Will definitely be booking again!

Anniversary getaway

Everything was outstanding. The accommodations were spotless inside and out. There were so many nice little thoughts put into everything. The communication and friendliness before we arrived was greatly appreciated. We had a great time and hope to return.

Serenity

Such a beautiful property, I throughly enjoyed our stay. Drinking tea on the front porch every morning while watching the gorgeous foliage this time of year was so peaceful. We visited Lake Tobias and Armstrong Vineyard both wonderful. I can’t wait to come back for another weekend getaway.

We loved our stay. The property is private, extremely clean, and very nicely appointed. There a lot of small touches that make it special. Prepare to be unplugged. You probably won't miss it.Thereprepare to be unplugged.

Quick midweek getaway

A business partner and I came to stay for a few days. We had a great time. Super peaceful and relaxed. The place was very clean and well maintained. There really is only one bedroom that is adequate for adults and probably why they call it the “couple’s cottage”. The upstairs loft has a sleeping area that would work for kids. I ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room and it was plenty comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

Secluded Getaway

This house was just what we needed. It is secluded, quiet and relaxing. The best parts of the house were the hot tub and fire pit with a grill attachment out back. First night we arrived it was completely pitch black outside and couldn’t see a thing. Located the key box, retrieved the key and went inside. The house was very clean and no smell at all. Definitely wasn’t expect linoleum throughout the house and in the kitchen the floor looks like it was either melted or something rusted out on it. The doors were very hard to lock and took a lot of playing and jiggling to get the deadbolt to function properly. Also the back doors deadbolt needs to be cut out of the door frame to be able to be used. The kitchen is well stocked with the basic needs. The refrigerator was extremely clean. The bathroom is just basic with no bells or whistles. The bedroom is small with a queen bed which makes tons of noise no matter how slow you move. The outside is beautiful.

Enjoyed an anniversary getaway with my hubby. It was a very cute, cozy, clean and well stocked cottage. It was peaceful waking up enjoying a cup of coffee outside. We enjoyed using the hot tub as well. Very secluded which is exactly what we were looking for.

Very lovely secluded area. The owners added many personal touches to make you feel welcome and relaxed from fuzzy, warm blankets to yummy treats , to a shelf at the hot tub area, comfortable furniture inside and out. My husband was thankful for the filled bug torches and the cut wood supplied for the firepit. There are plenty of spices and every utensil needed to prepare all meals. We would definitely love to return to this home and explore some more. We did tour the Fort Hunter Mansion and spent hours there and at the Lake Tobias Zoo, which is a legacy to be proud of. Thank you for a calming retreat.
