The Annex is way better than the other one which is older and has gone downhill. This one is beautiful in a Japanese retro and romantic way fitting to Hakodate. Plenty of yeasts and snack services, 3 private baths besides the big bathing areas, fabulous breakfast with fresh everything, even bubbly and sake!! Our room was spacious (premium deluxe) and many thoughtful touches and amenities. We had the dinner plan too. The first night included all you can eat made to order sushi and wagyu shabu shabu. The second night main was wagyu sukiyaki and tempura. Both dinners had plenty of small plates too, featuring the local IKA SOMEN ( thinly sliced like angel hair noodle local fresh caught squid) and the second night two free drinks so we hit two big bottles of beer! Service and hospitality was great. スタッフの方々が、丁寧で親切で最高。外でもご飯しなくていいくらい、朝食、飲み物、充実してます。温泉めあてなら、ホテルと、レンガの倉庫、函館山も近くて、充分楽しめます。 アメニティもいいです。あ、お風呂用のタオルがちょっとヘタリ気味だったかな。 空気の入れ替えしたかったのですが、窓の開け方わからなくて。ちゃんと聞けば良かった。夜泣き蕎麦（ラーメン）行けなくて残念。 宿泊手続きを済ませると、ロビーにウェルカムドリンクの用意があり、お茶菓子と共に頂くことができました。 息子はメロン紅茶がお気に入りでした。 お部屋も綺麗で加湿器もあり快適に過ごす事がてきました。 大浴場は１５時から翌日の１０時まで入る事ができるので何度も温泉に入ることができ、食事もとても美味しく、お風呂上がりのアイスや飲み物も好きな物をいただけるサービスも嬉しかったです。
