The hotel location is about 500m away from Hakodate JR station, but there is a tram station within 2 mins walk (Matsukazecho station). There is a few convenient stores within 300m and a MaxValu supermarket (Cheap foods, snack & almost everything) in 5 mins walk. A McDonald restaurant is just across the road (the hotel provided us two JPY200 vouchers). At the lobby, the hotel provided Free Tea/ Coffee/ Sakae (Japanese beer), Snack & Instant Noodle (self service).
