Hagi Vacation Packages
From Hagi, the major city of Hiroshima is approximately 60 miles (97 kilometers) to the east.
Hagi has a few visitor attractions, like the Ruins of Hagi Castle and Shoin Shrine.
The area around Hagi is wonderfully endowed with fabulous attractions, from big-ticket tourist hotspots to lesser known nooks and crannies. Tsuwano, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the west, and Kaho, 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the north of Hagi are good places to visit if you're keen on learning more about this region.
Around 16 miles (26 kilometers) to the south of Hagi is Yamaguchi, a regional center which is home to Koujin Shrine to the Warrior God, Yamaguchi Prefectural Museum of Art and Sho Hachiman-gu Shrine. Yamaguchi has much to offer visitors happy to stay for a day or two. Yamaguchi College of Arts and Yamaguchi University are just a couple of the other sights not to miss.
Learning a few common Japanese words and phrases can make the difference between a simple vacation and a rewarding journey into the rich psyche of Yamaguchi. Why don't you start with "Isshoni odorimasenka?" The English translation of this phrase is "Would you like to dance with me?" And "Benjo wa doko desu ka?", which translates as "Where's the toilet?"
When it is time to depart Hagi, spend the last of your yen on last minute keepsakes and bid a fond Sayōnara (farewell).
