"We had a lovely stay. The cottage is charming and perfectly appointed. It is comfortable and full of amenities. We wanted a place that was located in a beautiful setting so that we can relax, but close enough to enjoy the attractions of Lake George and beyond and this location fit the bill. Tom was very gracious and responsive. He made sure everything was perfect for our trip. Would love to come back!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The property was lovely. It was well kept, clean and organized. It felt peaceful. The only thing I would suggest is to add to the listing that though pets are welcome they aren't allowed to be left unattended in the cabin. This is certainly understandable since some people don't train their pets. However, not being able to do so limited what we could do on a few days. Also listing a puppy day care in the welcome binder as an option for days renters would like to venture...

"This was a 5-day, large family, vacation. There were a few minor issues, but nothing we couldn't overcome. We absolutely loved the location. There were a couple of days that we didn't even leave the property. The mosquitos were horribly, horribly bad! We went through a lot of insect spray and tiki torch fuel, but we were prepared for them. Thanks, Lisa"

"The cabin was perfect venue for our stay at Gore Mountain. The home was extremely clean with no detail left unturned, including gift baskets in the bathrooms and complementary wine for new visitors. The property was just private enough and perfect for our furry baby who enjoyed the woods every day. The whole family, including Belle the dog, were super friendly and welcoming, chatting with us, showing us around the property and even hand delivered a half dozen fresh eggs from their chickens! "We absolutely loved this little cabin! It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). We were in Saratoga for a soccer tournament and this was the perfect place to relax in between games and overnight. The hosts were amazing, left us the nicest welcome basket and equipped the cabin with everything we would need (flashlights, wood for the fire, coffee K-cups).
