"We had a group of ladies stay at the house and we enjoyed our stay. It was conveniently located close to all the shopping and restaurants. If it wasn’t so cold when we stayed we would have been able to walk to all the shopping. Everything we could need was supplied for the kitchen including coffee and creamer along with smaller kitchen appliances. We stayed during below zero temps and the main floor did have a hard time staying warm but the upstairs was nice and toasty. Overall a great house...

"We had a group of 14 which gathered in Walker, MN to stay at this very spacious, quiet location. The house is as advertised with a lot of space and many bedrooms with various types of beds and all with their own bathroom (toilet and sink). There are two shower rooms (with a sink and toilet as well) and they worked out well for all of us and Ron and Melanie (our hosts) even provided shampoos and body wash :). "Nice clean cozy home. Had everything we needed for our stay. The chickens and guinea fowl were fun to watch peck in the yard all day. Easy communication with the host. only downfall is there is no Wi-Fi or television wasn’t a big deal since we knew this before hand and brought our own TV for the evenings."

"This is a picture perfect place with a nice view of nature just outside the windows. The cabin has all the necessities and although it is near the road, it has a very private feel. It's a short drive to Itasca Park and there are several good restaurants nearby. We had a great stay."

"A very clean, well furnished cabin with many interesting trinkets inside and out. We absolutely loved having coffee on the deck with the sunrise views of the lake. The large yard is great for yard games for us and our dogs. Would definitely recommend this cabin for families."

Authentic cabin feel, great location on the lake while still being close to town, check in process very easy, and good communication with owner!
