Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Hacienda Anagumba?
The best area to stay in Hacienda Anagumba is within the main estate itself, as it offers a complete, premium experience.

The Hacienda Anagumba estate is a sprawling property located in the Andean foothills, offering a secluded and luxurious retreat. The main buildings, including the historic manor house, are surrounded by extensive gardens, working farmlands, and hiking trails. It's designed for guests who value privacy, comfort, and direct access to nature.

Couples seeking a romantic and peaceful getaway will find the Hacienda Anagumba estate ideal. You can enjoy strolls through the private gardens, indulge in gourmet dining experiences that often showcase ingredients from the estate's own farm, and relax by a fireplace in one of the premium suites. The serene environment and personalised service make it superb for a special occasion.

Families looking for a high-end, engaging experience will also appreciate staying directly on the estate. Children can explore the grounds, learn about farm life with supervised activities, and enjoy the open spaces.
When is the best time to go to Hacienda Anagumba?
The best time to visit Hacienda Anagumba is during the dry season, which runs from June to September and December to February.

During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and more sunshine, making it ideal for exploring the hacienda's grounds and the surrounding natural beauty. The trails will be clearer for walks, and outdoor activities like birdwatching or enjoying the gardens will be more pleasant.

For those interested in hiking and outdoor adventures, the dry season offers the most comfortable conditions. The clearer skies also provide better opportunities for stargazing, which can be quite spectacular away from city lights.

If you're seeking a tranquil escape focused on relaxation and enjoying the hacienda's amenities, any time of year can be pleasant.
