The resort is beautiful, perfectly maintained, and truly an oasis of peace and calm. Our room was delightful and very clean, with a large comfortable bed, quiet air conditioning, and a lovely bathroom with an excellent rainfall shower. The food was absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice. But the very best part of our stay was the people. Just before our arrival, our tuk-tuk was involved in an accident and needed repairs. The team went far above and beyond anything we could have expected, offering us incredible help and support. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine care made a stressful situation feel completely manageable. Every interaction with the staff was heartfelt and welcoming. We were genuinely disappointed that we had only booked one night, and we would recommend everyone to stay longer and fully enjoy this special place if they have the chance. It is a cabin in a nice wooded area with breakfast at 10 USD per person in reception. The pool is a plunge pool. The staff are nice and friendly. Some struggle with English. We were unfortunate and had torrential rain for a full day and a half. Couldn’t sleep because of the tin roof and there was no bar to retreat to. There’s not much to do if it’s raining in Habarana and there’s not even a tv in your cabin. If the weather was better it wouldn’t have been so bad. It’s an amazing place, very good value for money for a unique partially-glass house with a nice semi-outdoor shower. Rooms are clean and mine had two beds. The environment is serene and peaceful and some time on the hammock was so relaxing. Overall I had no issues with the room and resort itself. However, I would point out the service is quite bad. I arrived late at night and the main receptionist wasn’t there but a gentleman met me and gave me tea and escorted me to the room however when I asked questions about Sigiriya and recommendations he wasn’t able to answer. I did interact with the reception through their WhatsApp number which helped but still some things were unable to be provided. I would still recommend this place as it’s unique and peaceful if you can deal with not-so-great service. The rooms were clean and has a rustic feel. The staff were amazing. I would rate it 10\* if I could . The location is great , tucked away from the hustle but close to town . You can get on a safari tour to see the elephants. Unser Cabana-Zimmer war geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr privat – perfekt zum Entspannen. Das Personal war immer freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein.
