Welcome to the Best golf club in the area! Enjoy a great townhouse situated right on the golf course! The Peninsula Golf Club is a private community that is a great place for families to go or for groups wanting to play some golf. See bottom of description for pricing for pool and other facilities. FEATURES: The Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club offers top of the line golf and tennis. Each is run directly through the Pro shops. Prices will vary depending on the time of the year. You can contact them to find out how much each activity costs. Peninsula is a full service resort with amenities that include 27-hole golf course, heated indoor pool, outdoor pool with large sunning deck, eight lighted hydro-court surfaced tennis courts, fitness center, and access to miles and miles of newly paved and expanded bike/walking trails. Restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch. MASTER BEDROOM: The master bedroom has a king size bed and it's own private bathroom. Enjoy the large TV and watch a nice show while going to bed. A private closet stocked with hangars provides a great place to hang up all of your clothes and keep your luggage out of sight. A dresser provides extra storage for clothes is you like to pack heavily. Enjoy a private bathroom connected directly to the bedroom. MASTER BATH: Enjoy the large vanity area with dual mirrors. Double sinks allow multiple people to get ready at the same time without tripping over each other. Plenty of cabinet space for storing all of your bathroom essentials. LIVING AREA: The living room offers multiple loveseats and recliners with plenty of seating space and there is sitting for 6 at the dining table. Ceiling to floor glass door and windows allow you to always have an eye on the beautiful golf course. A TV with cable provides an excellent distraction if the weather isn't cooperating in the moment. For when the weather is nice, enjoy the screened in balcony with great views of the golf course. Enjoy additional seating at the large kitchen island. The countertop here can also be used as a serving station for anyone who wants to cook up a delicious meal in the unit. KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. A large stainless steel fridge has plenty of storage for food and drinks, and the freezer is large enough to stay stocked up on what you need to stay cold. An ice maker is located in the freezer of the large French style doors of the fridge. Stainless steel microwave, dishwasher, and oven with a glass stovetop allow you to get your chef on. Both a Keurig and a regular drip coffee machine is available for you to use. I attempt to keep disposable filters in stock for you to use. You will need to bring your own coffee. Also available for your use is a toaster, blender, can opener, pots and pans galore, baking sheets, and a full set of utensils and drinkware. SURROUNDING AREA: This property is nestled between the Bon Secour Bay and the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge providing access to 400 acres of nature trails, private beach area, wildlife galore, and a 350-foot pier—with fishing decks and picnic areas—from which to catch the most amazing, panoramic sunsets. A public beach and access to the Gulf of Mexico is also located about 3 miles to the west. For anyone up for a little bit of a drive, you can head up to Foley. Foley, AL, has great destinations to spend your entire day enjoying including the Tanger Outlet mall, featuring dozens of premiere shops and restaurants, and OWA - an all inclusive destination featuring shopping, dining, and entertainment. Entertainment includes a large arcade (often featuring gaming tournaments), a stage often featuring comedy shows and concerts, an amusement park featuring a full size roller coaster, and an indoor waterpark! It was quiet and a bit more secluded than most listings for Gulf Shores. It was clean and the room accommodations were exactly what we needed, including a walk-in closet off the master for our 3yo grandson to claim as “his bedroom”. We prefer the privacy of a condo in Peninsula Gulf and Racket Club and proximity to Bon Secour NWF as well as Gulf State Park. Condo was comfortable and clean. The only problem we had was the after hour code provided to open the gate did not work. I was looking for something around the orange beach area. However, I realize quickly that those places were super expensive on the beach and the properties were mid-level at best. I just so happen to run across this property on Verbo And I was amazed how nice the property looked in the pictures it is in Gulf Shores, which is about a 20 minute drive from the beach, but I was even more pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw the place in person. This is quite literally one of if not the nicest short stay rentals my family and I have ever stayed in. It was exceptionally clean, the accommodations were out of this world, and the environment at the golf course was exquisite. Like I said, it was also a short drive to Orange. Only a few minor hiccups that were quickly resolved. Owner was quick to respond. It may not be on the beach, but the balcony offered a peaceful spot to just sit and listen to nature and it was screened in which made it all the better. I would suggest that the bed in the first BR be looked at, as the headboard seems to bump the wall every time that you roll over. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Great place to drink your morning coffee while overlooking the golf course. The condo owner supplied us with all the kitchen supplies we needed. If you like getting away from the crowded touristy areas, this is a great place! We are not golfers, but for those that are, the course looks wonderful. There are beautiful neighborhoods to walk through and hiking trails nearby. Our rental was spacious for our group of 7\. There is a nice inside and outside pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, and exercise facilities. You do have to get in your car to drive a short distance to the beach, but that was no issue for us. It is still a short drive to busier part of Gulf Shores if that is what you like. Rates very reasonable! ##### Terri W. The condo was very spacious. Each bedroom offered privacy. The unit was very well furnished. The bed I slept in was extremely comfortable! I slept way better here than I do at home. The outside screened in deck was great. We spent a lot of time sitting out there watching the golfers go by. The Peninsula is a very well kept and very well run. Everyone was very friendly. The space was very well laid out for entertaining ourselves. We loved the open living area and gathered regularly around the large kitchen island cooking some wonderful meals. The beds and bedrooms were great especially the master and master bath. The condo was decorated very nicely. We did have to purchase measuring cups and spoons as well as salt and pepper as there were no staples. We loved the grounds as well as the screened porch overlooking the first fairway. The birds’ songs were a lovely treat having recently traveled from the wintery Midwest. There was a problem with the TV, but we brought our Roku, and they kindly offered up their Netflix password. I have stayed in other condos there and this one is by far furnished the best of those and has such a nice layout with the large island. We had an issue with the air conditioner and reported it right away. They had maintenance there and it was fixed in less than 3 hours. Luckily we were there for a family reunion at a home in the neighborhood and had somewhere to go while waiting but the on-site pools and nearby beach access are great too. Our stay was amazing. The property was well taken care of and felt like a home away from home. My entire family enjoyed the stay while we were here for a baseball tournament.
