It's beautiful and quiet compared to other beaches. The Plantations is a great resort with multiple pools, hot tubs, an on-site restaurant/bar and nowhere ever seemed crowded or loud. Beaches were clean and beautiful. The condo itself has everything you need and was nice. The condo owner was very accommodating when we needed to change the date of our stay and also very patient when I called him once we arrived with a question. The balcony had a nice view, but most of the chairs were broken so we couldnā€™t all enjoy it. As soon as we walked in the condo, the smell was overpowering. It had a very musty smell mixed with stale smoke. We tried to get rid of the smell, but it was impossible. The pots, pans, and dishes were dirty. We washed everything before we used them, but some were so old/rusted/scratched I didnā€™t feel comfortable using them. The comforters were very old and looked dirty, one even had a hole in the side where the stuffing was coming out. The property was very nice, we really enjoyed the property and our stay. The queen bed in the master bed was terrible. My wife and I both had sore backs as it is very uncomfortable. The communication with the condo owner was disappointing as we were told we could have access to the condo at 4pm but upon arrival found the unit had not been cleaned.
