We loved the view but sitting outside was uncomfortable due to the lack of proper seating. The upper deck had two small folding chairs and a 2ft round table. Certainly not enough room to eat breakfast and drink your coffee outside. One of the two chaise lounge chairs at the pool was broken and should have been removed from the sitting area. That left only one usable chaise lounge. The other chairs outside of pool area were not comfortable for lounging. There were rules posted about not moving furniture from its location. So you couldn't use a poolside chair to the deck for sitting. The last night we were there, a group of people moved into the condo next-door. They were extremely loud, obnoxious, and vulgar people, who were up until 1:00 a.m. and by 7:00 a.m., they were outside again being loud, vulgar, and honking horns. This pretty much ruined our last night on Thursday, 9/4/25\. A man showed up unexoectedly to cut the grass just before we were going out to use the pool. We were not told to expect anyone. Of course the grass clippings were in the pool when he left. So my husband had to clean the pool before we could use it. We didn't have time to call the host and wait for someone to come clean it, due to a scheduled event. This should have been coordinated ahead of time by the host. Given the amount charged per nights stay and all of the fees, we were expecting a more enjoyable experience. ##### Cindy S. At this house you’re getting a great location and a short walk to the beach. The pool was very nice and clean. The dock was nice to fish off of even if we didn’t have much success this time around. The underside of the house pretty much became our family’s hang out and the out door shower was a blessing to have for sure. The only downsides was lack of shade by pool and the dock, lack of lighting by the pool. The top step coming down the back by the pool was dangerous, and the lack of a gate at the top to keep your dog from running down. If you try to communicate to the place through VRBO they don’t respond so if it’s important just call the number. We visited with our dog Pelham for a vacation in Gulf Shores. Clean and comfortable house with its own pier and private pool, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. We're already looking forward to our next visit to Little Egret! ##### Edward F. We enjoyed our stay at the Little Egret. The pool was refreshing after a day of walking at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our seafood. Nice fenced in area for dog to 'go'. Beautiful sunsets. Unfortunately neighbor's using their deck kept me out of the pool. Did 'fish' a live crab out of the pool - which then scampered to the lagoon. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock in the back of the house and the heated pool was a nice addition as well. It's just far enough away from all the commercial stuff to be nice and quiet and without a ton of traffic, but still close enough to have a short drive to almost anything you could ask for. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 and it is the perfect property if you are bringing a dog. The deck and fence is set up to be able to easily let your dog in and out without having to worry about them running off. The property was nicely updated. It was perfect! Having the fishing dock was a huge hit. The views of the lagoon was spectacular & everyone had so much fun fishing on the dock. It also has a little beach area that the kids could wade into the water & discover the ocean life. We had a great time at Little Egret! The location is perfect. I will say there is a gap on the seal on the door that let a few friends in but the management was very responsive!
