Spent a lot of time on the deck and in the pool loved having our own pool and not having to share with tons of people was about a five minute walk, which was perfect. We did do quite a bit of cooking in the unit, just because we wanted to stay in and enjoy the pool and the beach. However, when we opened cabinets to get plates bugs scattered. Needless to say we ate out. The host apparently changed the Internet provider and didn't update the information, so we had to contact the property manager to get the info. After bringing out suitcases in we went shopping and bought some drinks and snack for the fridge. A couple hours later we go to get our drinks out of the fridge and there were live German cockroaches in the fridge. After trying to kill it we notice roach traps in the kitchen. And then my friend found another live roach in the living room. We quickly packed and removed our stuff. Getting to refund was not as easy as they do not have management available after hours and they could not decided without them whether to refund us. We rented a hotel room for the night and someone finally said they could refund me the next morning. Those things spread like wildfire and they should not rent the house until the infestation has been dealt with. ##### Debra F. Its just a short distance from the beach. The pool was a great addition. The place itself was nice and spacious. My complaint is with management. The dryer in the unit did not work. I emailed the company on July 4th notifying them. They sent someone to take a look on the 5th. The maintenance man said it needed to be repaced. NO ONE EVER CAME TO REPLACE IT! I made several calls and each time was told they would check with maintenance and call me back. THEY NEVER DID! We had to use beach towels at bath time because we ran out of clean towels. Away from busy beach area, road is busy in front of house. Pool is not heated. There were multiple cockroaches in the cabinets and counters. I read prior reviews that did state same issue. The pool and outdoor shower were great because the kids could swim whenever they want and also rinse off all the sand from the beach!
