DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase. WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. One of the chairs was broken and water pressure in master bedroom shower was very poor. Unit was clean and well stocked. The Best because: It was clean, nice linens on beds, beautiful beachie decorating, the kitchen had everything to prepare meals if you didn't want to hit any of the good restaurants, all the appliances worked, laundry was in a good area and quiet, bedrooms a nice size as was the bathrooms, steps to the beach, steps to 2 outdoor pools, hot tub, and indoor pool. And view of the Gulf was second to none! If needed there were tvs in 2 of the bedrooms and the main living room............but who wants to watch tv when you have the Gulf! Will be going back soon! Very comfortable beds. Ceiling fans and standing fans are nice. Love the walk in shower in master bath. Kitchen had everything you need. Had nice blender and even a Keurig. View of beach is beautiful. There's a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Balcony is large and accessible from living room and bedroom. Was very clean. We have stayed at the light house 4 summers now and like the location and what it offers. As far as this condo, it needs a few new things. The master dresser drawers do not stay on the tracks. Seems old and needs to be replaced. We had to keep our clothes in our bags for the week. The living room recliner needs to be replaced with an updated one. It felt like it was going to break every time you tried to lean back. If these things were updated, we would use this same condo next summer. ##### Kathleen W. We Loved the Darling Beachy Decor in every room, the large laundry room and the fact that the washer and dryer are "old school" with KNOBS instead of electronic sensors that are hard to figure out. Same with the thermostat--it was easy peasy. The views from this 7th floor unit are Gorgeous and unobstructed, the after-hours security guard, Dennis, was VERY helpful and friendly. Parking is on-site and NOT across the street, and the elevators are plentiful and SUPER-FAST. We also loved that there are TWO large pools and TWO hot tubs, and they are beautifully lit at night. And they are open until 10:30 p.m which is longer than most. We LOVE to swim at night! This is also one of just a handful of properties in Gulf Shores where the distance from the pools and condos are just a short distance, and you don't have to walk Forever to get to the water's edge. THIS is the property we will return to whenever we vacation in the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area. ##### Lori B.
