I accommodated a guest request due to family issues--had a few of these this summer, sadly--and this popped open JUNE 24-JULY 1\. DD books full the SUMMER BEFORE so this is your chance to snag an uber-popular place, and perhaps just find your year after year slice of paradise in the process! And at a discount too! Win-win! UPDATE 2023-06-02: Yay! New pics from the big reno. Had to wait for a little break in the bookings! ALSO, one random week popped back open for summer 2023\. Just opened it. Grab it quick! UPDATE: 2022-11\. Big renovation complete. Brand new virtual tour! When in doubt, the virtual tour IS the latest and greatest pics and layout! The Dancing Dolphin is a gorgeous home that is located directly on the Gulf! It has 10 foot ceilings with crown molding, is professionally decorated, and has wonderful gulf views from most rooms, including 4 out of 5 bedrooms! Added a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a nightly surcharge (varies by season and with gas market price, has been $60-85 per night, just inquire, and must be for length of stay (this is based on market pricing for propane gas, and can change at any time, both up and down, until added to a reservation). Fee subject to change due to incredibly high gas rates right now. Simply request the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and at least a week before check in so we can get it on before you arrive. Comfortably sleeping 21 with four of the five bedrooms located on the gulf side so you can wake up to the water out your window. The Dancing Dolphin in Gulf Shores also has a large open living/dining/kitchen area, and includes TWO Gulf Front Master Bedrooms, each with its own whirlpool tub and separate shower. 2nd Floor Master: King 3rd Floor SE Master: King 3rd Floor Middle Bunk Room: Triple Bunk, Bunk, QSS 3rd Floor SE BR: 2 Queens and QSS 3rd Floor NE BR: King Other amenities at the Dancing Dolphin in Gulf Shores include a POOL, televisions, cable, internet, central air, ceiling fans throughout, TWO refrigerators with ice makers, washer & dryer, 2 dishwashers, outside showers and a picnic table. BONUS FRIDGE AND DISHWASHER Yep. TWO refrigerators and two dishwashers... You won't want to ever have just one again! PARKING There is available onsite parking for at least 8 cars. In fact, you could park more cars than you should be driving for a 21 person home! Inquire if you have special vehicle needs. WIFI/INTERNET YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction! SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well. PETS We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Please inquire. No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time! That’s it! We think you’ll have a great stay in our home. The kids sprawled out and loved the bunk beds while the bigger girls claimed the front ocean view room with the double beds. We usually stay further down in Fort Morgan, but loved the location and convenience your home provided. We still got the secluded beach feel with way more food options and activities nearby. Everyone had their own spacious bedroom and bathroom, along with a very open and roomy kitchen and great room. Being right on the beach with a covered pool was great! Having 2 full refrigerators and 2 full size ovens was fantastic. The only negatives we had were a couple of bug sightings, a cool pool (even though it was heated to 82 degrees), and the a/c on the main floor didn't circulate well in the bedroom. The Dancing Dolphin accommodated our group of 15 perfectly. Enough king beds for the adults and plenty of space for all 9 kids. The location is so convenient to restaurants and activities while giving us the secluded “private beach” feel we’ve grown to love about the Fort Morgan end of the peninsula. Stayed at Dancing Dolphin with my family and grandkids in April. The house is amazing, had everything we needed. Huge eat in kitchen that is very well stocked. Bama Beach Houses' staff is very available and super about everything from first making the reservation, to super easy check in. We have used various agencies over the past 6 yrs to stay in Gulf Shores and BBH is by far the best in customer service. I am so happy we found them and we will be a repeat tenant. The size accommodated the # of family members perfectly! We all had a wonderful time with kids and grandkids. It is beautiful with a beautiful view. We seen dolphins almost every day of our 7 day stay sometimes multiple times a day. We are leaving 70 degree temps to go home to 20 degree temps.
