No need to pack a cooler when the fridge is just a few steps away! Three King beach front bedrooms with private baths and balcony access as well as huge windows spanning the entire width of the house mean you'll enjoy breathtaking views all day long. A six-burner gas range, commercial Bunn coffee maker, free standing ice maker and separate full-size freezer all help to make your vacation a success. Pro Tip: take the community boardwalk to have easy access to both pools and tennis courts. The Space The living room offers a relaxing setting with comfortable seating and opens onto a generous deck that connects to your very own private beach boardwalk. At mealtime, there is ample room for all at the dining table and breakfast bar. You'll even find an intimate bistro set for two. One King suite is located on the lower level and the remaining four bedrooms on the upper level. The upstairs loft houses the futon for additional sleeping space. There are TVs in all bedrooms as well as wall mounted hair dryers in all the bathrooms. Conveniently located on the lower lever near the boardwalk, you'll find an oversized enclosed outdoor shower with both hot and cold water. Located on the gulf side of scenic Ft. Morgan Road between mile markers 6 and 7, the Morgantown community features two swimming pools and two newly resurfaced tennis courts. There are four community beach access & boardwalks to the only pet friendly beach in the Gulf Shores area. The neighborhood is walking & biking friendly. Freedom II can accommodate up to 17 guests. Freedom II can be rented with its next-door neighbor, Freedom I, giving you and your guests plenty of room for a family reunion or company getaway. It's time to set yourself free! When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown. Freedom II is dog friendly and so is the beach! Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment. Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available. Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. The house is situated in a quiet community, right off the beach, so it made it so easy everyday with 4 kids. The kids loved being able to go back and forth from the beach to the house all day long. We saw plenty of fish, and even caught a stingray. The biggest excitement was the swimming manatee right by our house. Overall the house fit our needs and had plenty of beds to choose from. However I will say, the towels were like cheap gym towels and linens were not the best quality. One floor vent next to the exterior wall in the large bedroom is intended to cool off the entire room and bathroom, The area is too large for that to happen. One vent was located next to the toilet in the toilet closet doing nothing to cool the bathroom. There was a portable AC next to the bed the size of a mini fridge, but it sounded like a garbage truck. The loud noises it made was HORRIBLE-equivalent to that found in cheap hotel. Our options were to be cool by running the obnoxiously disturbing AC and NOT sleep, or not run the AC and suffer the stuffiness of the hot room and still not sleep. We even tried putting two oscillating fans, one in the door way to the living room to try to pull cold air in, but all that did was blow around the hot air even more. On the final day we discovered the one floor vent in the bedroom was not even open, not that we think it would have helped much. The utility room and 1/2 bath was also very hot. This is not what we signed up for when booking this house for our family vacation. We were angered and frustrated. Another issue was the living room door that opened to the deck leading to the beach would not stay closed without the deadbolt which is an inconvenience since its the only door that leads outside to the beach without having to walk all the way around from the front. We truly loved this area, the beach, the courts, the quietness of the neighborhood, the many beautiful homes in this particular area and the privacy, but we did not love this house. ##### Carla W. This house was so spacious, and with the outside charcoal grill and inside gas stove and griddle, made it so much more easier to keep the masses fed! We love Fort Morgan because it is less commercial and more "beachy". Plus, we travel with our furbabies and the beach is dog friendly! Afternoon strolls with them were so much fun. We were never crowded on the beach, with plenty of space for the kids to roam.
