It had enough bed space for 3 adults and 3 kids, with two of the kids on the sleeper sofa. We loved the view off the balcony, the proximity to the beach, and the family-friendly atmosphere! We knew ahead of time that there are only a few restaurants in the near vicinity, so we placed a Walmart grocery order to pick up on our way to the condo. This worked really well for us! I will say that the unit could use a few small updates. The kitchen items were sparse and very worn (i.e. not in good condition), so if you're planning to do a fair amount of cooking, I'd recommend bringing some items of your own! And, as another reviewer mentioned, the living room furniture is not in great shape. Could use an update there as well! There is no linen service. But there is a laundry room in the building. The washers/dryers take quarters or you can swipe a card, but you have to have quarters to buy laundry detergent from the dispenser. I'd recommend just bringing your own laundry detergent if you're staying more than one or two days and want fresh towels and sheets! Overall though, we had a good stay and would recommend it to others. ##### Kristen W. Upon arriving at 4:30 pm the condo wasn't ready until 6pm. when I asked about a discount on it being two hours late they said that the agreement said it could be but a delay of hours but I read and reread my agreement and it didn't state that at all. Also, upon entering the condo the shower stall was molded and instead of calling to let them know I went to wal-mart and got some tilex to clean it myself since they had just finished cleaning it and didn't do a good job. The bath rug was under the vanity and looked like it had been used for a month without being changed out. The condo itself was a good size and the view was great. Beds were comfy too. I was informed that when they charged me both times for the rent that they had made a mistake of 9\. 18 and it will be deducted from the deposit refund. I think that it was their fault of the mistake and poor customer service to take it from the deposit. I normally don't write a review but this time I feel like this has been very poor customer service with a bad attitude from them. I will not book from them again nor do I plan to stay at The Plantation again. ##### Sheila H. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the agent, JB, to be difficult to work with. She has poor communication and customer service skills. She showed a low regard for her customers/guests safety, security and privacy. We wanted a property that was a bit more secluded but still had plenty of amenities. While the unit was pretty small, it met our needs for our busy, active family. The host left plenty of instructions and made check-in easy. My only complaint would be that you were instructed to not use the bedspreads, or risk a cleaning fee for soiling. I have never been asked to do this anywhere I’ve stayed. Thankfully, we came prepared with our own blankets. Outside of that oddity, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again! He could not navigate the bathroom very well and we fell when trying to get out of the shower. He could not move around very well in the unit, getting onto the balcony was impossible from the bedroom and a challenge from the living room. Otherwise, the unit was clean and the location was perfect. ##### C W.
