"Check in was very easy. The hotel is clean. Could use the carpet cleaned on the high traffic area. The room was very clean. The only ding I would give the room was the bedding. The blanket had hair all over it and none of it was mine. The coverlette looked cheap, like they used old drapes on the bed. Staff was great. Grounds were well maintained. I loved the gazebo. Able to sit in the gazebo catching any breeze. I would stay there again."

"When we envisioned the perfect elegantly rustic cabin in a beautiful wooded location, we didn’t realize it actually existed, but we just spent a perfect week in it.Everything about this was done to perfection. The grounds were immaculate, the cabin decor was elegant and interesting, the preparation for guests was thorough and thoughtful, and the hosts were very helpful, friendly, and responsive. We can’t say enough good things about this property."

"This was an incredibly lovely place to stay! Everything was incredibly thoughtful, including a binder that explained exactly where to find whatever you might be looking for. We loved being on the small lake and did make use of one of the kayaks. We loved that our dog was welcome. The full refrigerator was very helpful! It is useful to read the part of the description that noted there were two small buildings connected with stairs. You will need to go outside briefly to go to the restroom or use the kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the futon. We loved sitting on the front porch, looking at the lake. We would definitely make a point of trying to stay there for a couple of days if/when we are in the area again."

"The basement apartment was what we needed, private,clean, close to everything we needed. Host Tom was a nice man and seemed to know what was going on with the property. Insulation between floor could help with noise from upstairs which was minimal. We would stay here again! Marcia and Jerry"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love love love this property! It offers quiet solitude with nothing to see but the beautiful dense forest that surrounds the property. The location is secluded yet is close to whatever we needed - lots of hiking and biking access. Will definitely stay here again. UpNorth is a great group to work with - always quick to respond to any issue or question."
