Its prime location is the only redeeming factor. It is a just across the famous Bei jing Lu, which makes it v convenient to shop around. However, the hotel condition is horrible. The triple room i stayed in has a mouldy smell, cracked basin and walls, and dirty carpet flooring. Really bad room condition and in need of a renovation

Disappointing！
the room and the hallway were filled with smell of smoke ，wall paper showing signs of wearing。TV remote was dirty with spilling stains！The building needs immediate remodeling，especially the inside of the hotel！

Ideal for shopping on Beijing Lu and visiting the Pearl River boat tour. Lots of activity close by. The metro is a building away, from high leaves transportation to other areas perfect. The hotel rooms are a little aged, but again, it’s about location, location, location. Staff is friendly, and English speaking only at front desk, walk with translator for shopping and buying food, and bombs away!

Disappointed!
Location was ok. They have a problem with their airconditioning, since it's summer when we stayed I thought that the room temperature will be cold. I tried to call Housekeeping lots of times, they checked tour room and felt it was really hot. They kept on saying the temperature will be ok after 15 mins but it didn't improved until finally they gave us an electric fan to compensate. I will not stay here on my next visit to Guangzhou.

Not happy having to stay in different rooms in two nights. I don’t care much for upgrade , but they are stiff in rules, not consider trouble re changing rooms the guest going through. The price is ok,

But the first night we give you free upgrade to a business room because standard rooms were sold out that night. If you want to stay the same room in the second night, you can pay the price differences between a business room and a standard room.

Lacks basic amenity. Even in business executive room, their second highest category of rooms, no lockers are provided. Lobby lacks sitting capacity. No washrooms in lobby. Restaurant is pathetic.

Best for location. The rest is just ok.
Location location location. Breakfast isnt that good. Hotel room facilities are just ok. But coffee and tea are not complimentary. I paid 7rmb for the tea. AC isnt that good. If ur priority is location, and just a good place to sleep in, this is ok.

Good location near to shopping area
It’s average on the overall experience. Made my booking months before arrival, requested for a big bed due to all are Husband and Wife. Hotel give us 2 single beds instead. Requested for a change of room. Staff only mentioned will take note, no action at all. Stayed there for 4 nights, no staff get back to us.

bad experience with the hotel..
very bad service by the counter staff.. i've gave copy of my expedia booking, include booking number to the staff, however i was told that my booking was not available.. i was told to check with expedia on my own, & after i scold them to recheck, its actually there.. plus no appologize from them.. very bad manners from the staff

I would recommend this hotel only because of its very convenient location in beijing lu. On our first day, we were checked in to a room that smelled like sewer inside the bathroom. We requested another room on our second day and were moved to a room that had mold all over the shower room. The front desk staff were very rude. BUT, the location is very good.

Experience stay in Guangzhou
Need to pay deposit before checking in. Quite disappointed because I did call the hotel. Com hotline whether I should prepare the deposit before going. They said no need. Luckily I bring extra if not enough money to spend for it. Request to take photo by hotel said their government quite strict about it. The hotel staff are quite helpful. Only the wifi doesn't work at all even the staff came to check on it. Just verbally said connect the password will do and left. When I try to ask him back, we need call the help desk again.

Great Location
Location is very good. Just walk across the road is the Beijing Road. Same building beside the hotel is 24hrs Mcd, The hotel staff very polite & very good in english. Next year planing to GuangZhuo i will book this hotel.

location is the best but this hotel is really outdated and need major renovation. its a bit pricey for the the stars of this hotel but i guess it base on the location and convenience.
