It was in need of an update desperately. The floors, especially the kitchen, were dirty from grime that had blown in I assume through the windows. There was no hot water (but I like cold showers!) but for someone else this could be a problem. It was very hard to find and the explanation wasn’t clear and I had to ask a restaurant waiter to help me find it. The location is great with only a short walk to the Metro and only 1 stop to the Canton Fair. If I had a room like the ones pictured I’m sure I would feel differently. I was extremely sad to leave, the hotel staff could not have been more kind and welcoming during our stay and helpful as we planned excursions inside and outside the city. A twin bed room that was perfect for a business trip. The bathroom was spacious! One of the best things about this hotel though is the location. We were able to take the tube, walk or an Uber to every single part of the city. Both double beds were very comfortable- a big deal to me. Comfortable bed linens and very plush towels were appreciated.
