"I would say that this space is "ok". There are pros and cons to any vacation rental and this property is no different. The pros are location (fantastic - especially with kids), parking (easy and heated), and cleanliness. However, the fireplace does not work, the building has plumbing issues, and windows are drafty. The fireplace is a known issue and we were told the building is older and therefore it will not work. The water was shut off for a day and there is an occasional smell that comes from...

"A humidifier was available but the room was still very hot. One of the two elevators was not working. We were fortunate since our room was still accessible but it was a busy week and since one of the elevators was
out of service the wait time was increased. Also, the change machine was out of order. This is a simple thing to address but yet it wasn’t. "

"Hospitality was a plus ! Convenient to the Georgetown Railroad and Mining experience ! The pool experience was relaxing knowing the indoor pool was well maintained . Would stay here again ! "
"My family and I were hiking Gray’s Peak early in the morning and wanted to stay in a nearby hotel/motel the night before and found the Georgetown Mountain Inn online.
Check in was a breeze and Amber was not only pleasant and informative, but even provided a water kettle and a selection from their included breakfast for us to take that night as we were leaving early in the am.
The lobby was charming with a beautiful stone fireplace, the rooms had wood paneling and wood log furniture. (Their “Log Room”) The rooms were a bit dated but the beds were comfortable and clean (as were the towels). Our room (2 queens each) had a microwave and refrigerator and plenty of outlets for our devices. The water pressure for my shower was very good but the temperature could have been a bit hotter. The price was very reasonable (about half of Microtel down the street).
It’s very close to the quaint town and we had dinner at Cooper’s on the Creek (great burgers and cocktails/extensive draft beer selection!)
If you want a convenient, charming stay with excellent service that doesn’t break the bank, I highly recommend the Georgetown Mountain Inn!"
