Love this hotel - authentic charm in Guanajuato, each room named for a poet. Beautiful Saltillo tiles on the floor of the room. Wonderful location, warm and efficient staff.

The hotel is in a great location - easily walkable to a bunch of restaurants. Hotel layout is quirky and cool. Our room had a window that faces another wall and a window that faces the corridor. Beds were comfortable, and Wi-Fi was okay. Breakfast service was understaffed and thus very slow. The most frustrating thing was the shower - the water pressure was very low.

The staff are top notch. The facility is really beautiful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and the decor takes you back to a time of warmth and family. We stayed in the family suite and it was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The chilaquiles were among the best eaten. The location was perfect. Walked everywhere. We will be back.

Beautiful building! The room was basic. The man at the front desk was super helpful and really cared that we have a great experience. The other front desk staff not so much. The other staff were very nice and friendly. The second night was better than the first. The bed was very hard but we put extra blankets down to soften it. The water pressure was low but they fixed it so the shower was better. We really missed the name of the hotel being carried into more poetry. The location was great. There are many hotels to choose from. This was one that was pretty good.
