A nice place to stay for the price. This is a renovated historic building, so it’s older but very clean. It’s well-located in the Centro Histórico but there is a lot of road noise. The staff are extremely nice & attentive.

We traveled with our family and we had 8 people which we got to rooms. This was conveniently located at the center downtown area of Guadalajara. Very easy to walk around and sightsee. The hotel was clean, had excellent water pressure, air conditioning, and the staff was very friendly. Parking was included with valet. Beds were comfortable. My only complaints were the busy noisy traffic at night. It was tough to sleep with the sirens for ambulances and police. As well as the zooming of cars throughout the night. Lastly, the hotel towels were extremely worn and dingy. Overall we all had a great time staying in this historic hotel.

Room was not as I expected. That was a leak in the bathroom, also had a bad smell. The closet in the room isn't a closet. Shower drainage too slow. The entrance of the hotel is not accessible to handicap. Personnel are polite and professional.

The hotel was terribly noisy during the night as it's close to a major road. The room was also completely different from what the pictures show. I booked a two queen beds room which is supposed to be 323 sqft with four chairs in the room. But actually the room was way smaller than the number they marked and there was only one chair with a very small table in the room. When we were trying to negotiate with the receptionist about the room, we were told that that was the only available room, as long as there are two beds, it's what I booked. Their attitude was very bad, we had an argument. And the receptionist does not speak English at all.

La atención del personal fue excelente; todos fueron muy amables y atentos durante nuestra estancia. Sin embargo, considero que existe cierta discrepancia entre las fotografías publicadas en la plataforma y la realidad de las instalaciones. Las imágenes muestran espacios muy atractivos y bien presentados, pero al llegar encontramos un hotel bastante austero. Por ejemplo, las habitaciones no cuentan con teléfono para comunicarse con recepción. La habitación que nos asignaron estaba en un tercer piso y tenía una terraza agradable, aunque daba más la impresión de ser una adaptación en la azotea del edificio que una habitación integrada al diseño original del hotel. Durante nuestra estancia incluso se desprendió la tubería del lavabo. Además, la puerta del baño era extremadamente pequeña, aproximadamente de 60 cm de ancho por 1.40 m de alto, por lo que era necesario entrar de lado y agacharse para evitar golpearse. Reconozco que el hotel conserva algunos espacios coloniales muy bonitos y con encanto; sin embargo, la habitación que nos asignaron no reflejaba ese estilo ni la calidad que sugieren las fotografías promocionales. Otro aspecto importante es que ni el acceso al hotel ni ciertas áreas visibles en las imágenes corresponden exactamente a lo que encontramos al llegar. Considero que sería más transparente mostrar fotografías reales y actualizadas de todas las áreas y tipos de habitaciones, permitiendo que cada huésped tome una decisión informada antes de reservar.
