This is a lovely oasis in the busy center of Ajijic. Gratis breakfast was great and the courtyard pool was a plus. Highly recommended.

Casa del Sol is a beautiful boutique B&B. The common areas are stunning and our room was spacious and elegant. The proprietor is a lovely and gracious host. The breakfast was large and very tasty. It is located a short distance from the main square. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to friends and colleagues.

The property is beautiful and conveniently located near all of the wonderful things to see in Ajijic. They were always homemade goodies like cookies and muffins available to guests in one of the lounge areas. Elizabeth, the property owner, was wonderful offering to help us plan any adventures we were looking for. My only complaint is that hot water was spotty at best. There were mornings we had to take a cool shower because the water never got hot in the bathrooms. I made mention of this early on in our stay, but nothing was done about it. The logical explanation would be that multiple guest rooms shared the same water heater, and that the other guests used up the water before it had time to heat up again. Overall, it was a great place to stay and I would stay there again.

We had an excelllent two night stay. It’s a beautiful small hotel, centrally located, within a short walk to restaurants,shopping, and with a rooftop terrace that has an amazing view of the town. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well-decorated. The staff was great and super helpful. The owner Elizabeth introduced herself at the delicious complimentary breakfast which was a nice touch of hospitality. It was a perfect stay in Ajijic and I would highly recommend it to a friend!
