Poor wifi
Very comfortable, spacious and quiet, although our room did not have wifi. We asked at reception, only to be told there are "working on it". But it wasn't working for the length of our stay.

Hallo Gezinus, Bedankt voor het geven van jou feedback! Ik had graag gezien dat wij je een betere ervaring had gehad bij ons. Wij werken er elke dag hard aan om aan de verwachtingen van onze gasten te voldoen. En bij u zijn wij daar helaas in te kort geschoten. De aanpak van de nieuw ringweg geeft inderdaad tijdelijk veel hinder voor een goede bereikbaarheid van ons hotel. Onze entree en ontvangst bevindt zich in tegenstelling tot de meeste hotels op de derde etage. Erg vervelend dat wij niet instaat zijn geweest jou het welkom te geven die wij al onze gasten geven. Excuses daarvoor. Ik en mijn collega's hopen een tweede kans te krijgen om te bewijzen dat wij wel degelijk in staat zijn om jou een waanzinnige verblijf te geven waar veel van onze gasten ondertussen van zijn gaan houden. Nice Hotel
Room was excellent. Staff in general was friendly. Hotel location is Ok but not great. Bar was open late which gave us some extra time to relax after a long day. I would rate this hotel 8 out of 10 stars. I would give it a 10 if the Hotel would have been located right in the city. However, if you are visiting just for business, this is the Hotel I would recommend.

Comfortable hotel with great staff. The room was clean and breakfast was a good selection of quality foods. Never had a bad experience at this property.

How could this get a 4-star rating?
It is a mystery to us how this hotel could get a 4-star rating. -The lobby is a small corner on the third floor of another building, where no one was around when we arrived - The photos on Hotels.com are misleading, as the hotel rooms are only on the bottom 3 floors of the side building. From the photos one would assume to get a room in a higher floor. - The room was OK, but very small and lacking amenities such as even a mini-bar or fridge. - The shower did not drain properly, the arrangement of the bathroom was not very practical. For instance the hair-drier was installed blocking the mirror in front of the (small) sink. The mirror in the hallway was covered by a poster, so that it no longer worked as a proper mirror, etc. If this hotel was rated as a 3-star, I would be OK with it, but even then it would not be one of the better 3-star hotels in my experience. In summary: If this hotel deserves a 4-star rating, then the rating system is completely useless. It is a mystery to us how this hotel could have been rated 4-stars.

We stayed in the suite over the weekend. We already stayed in the Apollo twice before of which one in the suite... We enjoyed it so much that we wanted to stay in the same room. Good choice. Staff is great, Hotel is hip, clean and well kept and modern.

Over the past five years I’ve stayed in the Apollo three times and I always get the same room. It is clean and tidy with an excellent bathroom and shower. The bed is two singles put together, it’s ok, but if you turn over too quickly you may find yourself on the floor! Breakfast buffet is good, the bacon a bit too greasy and is of the “shaved pig” variety rather than proper back bacon, but it is what it is. Service at the bar is good, the staff young and friendly if the cocktails are limited and preprepared. There is one major and inexplicable problem. The coffee machine. There is only one which takes an age to fill a cup and regularly runs out of coffee, water or both. On Monday, despite being in the restaurant for an hour it was impossible to get past superannuated guests getting three or four coffees at a time! Honestly guys and girls, I know you’re trying out Hipster chic, but no coffee in the morning goes beyond all your fancy trends, fashions or attitudes. But another machine (or two!) for the sanity of your guests!

Decent stay.
The stay was perfectly decent and the bed was comfortable. The only negative is that it is slightly outside of the centre of the city so takes a bit of a walk or public transport. The shower didn't have particularly good pressure and the in-room toiletries were a bit meh. However, I would happily stay here again. One point of note is that the hotel is only the first couple of floors and has a confusing layout.

The hotel location is just outside the city, we do have bus tickets for sale for 2 euro's for a day ticket and renting a bicycle for 7.50 a day, so you can go to town. Looking forward to next time. The hotel was very clean and I especially liked the policy regarding protecting environment. The restaurant was very good, the food was delicious but the waitresses were somewhat rude. As a single woman staying at the hotel, I realized that they sometimes ignored my table and were much nicer in their service to table with men.

Pointless late check in.
3 pm check in it's way too late. london flight arrives at 9 am had to stay out sleepless and tired. Customers who has health issues like me struggles with nonsense.

Good vibe at The Apollo Hotel
Great hotel with a contempary feel. Staff are friendly and really helpful. The bar is good ( great cocktails!) and open til midnight. The heating in the rooms is not that goid - on high its still chilly.

Good location underground parking.
Everything is smart except charging on single use of a twin room double breakfast double tax ? Who ate the second breakfast and gave my room number each day for 3 days.... Not so smart otherwise ideal hotel
