"Convenient for Sports centres"

"A bit outside the city centre, but not necessarily a bad spot. Room was great. Wish it had AC. I like my room cold. Most of the staff was nice/helpful. first interaction with the lady at front desk was as pleasant as i would have liked, but maybe she was having a bad morning. I was early and it was basically, “you can’t check in until 3.” When I asked about early check in, “I can see if rooms are ready and it will cost you £25.” Just wasn’t as friendly as I would hope front desk to be. Especially first impressions. "

"Good room, staff, breakfast. Dinner menu very limited with nothing suitable for us so we had to dine elsewhere. Room for improvement here🤔"

"Fairly spacious room, basic but that's what I paid for. Comfortable bed and a good bathroom. Relatively quiet considering the location. "

"Great location but hotel is badly let down by poor room. We had a shower which didn’t drain therefore flooded the bathroom also the sink didn’t drain. The wardrobe was very difficult to close, the WiFi was weak so could not get connected. The decor was scruffy and we could not get the heating to work. There was a portable radiator so suspect this was a previous issue. Very disappointed overall as you can guess. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok"

"Complicated and restrictive system for booking the swimming pool, only 8 persons allowed. Car parking very limited with surrounding car parks very expensive. Bathroom dangerous, there is a desperate need for hand rails, it’s an accident waiting to happen climbing out of the bath. The sofa beds in the rooms are very uncomfortable and desperately need the mattresses replaced. Location superb and very handy for the train and venues like The Crucible. Good pricing structure."

"Our room was tired. It had stained ceiling tiles, fraying carpet on the entrance to the ensuite, stained carpet, mini fridge inoperative. In addition to the above, the hotel was undergoing renovation in the lobby area, the breakfast was very poor value for money. Overall, a poor visitor experience. "

"Everything we needed for a two night break in Sheffield. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the air conditioning creaked when it heated up at 6am which was annoying, but still a nice stay."
