"Everthing good but the hallwat was bery noisy"

"Our family group consisting of 3 generations,(ranging in age from 76 down to 12), had a wonderful stay over the Easter long weekend - we used both houses. One family brought their dog, and another their 2 pet ducks. The dog tends to be a wanderer so was mostly kept on a long lead, and the ducks, when not foraging in the grassed areas, stayed in their "dog" enclosure, which worked out well. We enjoyed spending time in the games room, using all the activities - the arcade machine being the favourite. We spent time in the heated pool, & a lot of time outside playing French Cricket - the dog was our best fielder!The house is really spacious & well appointed, and there was ample room to prepare meals for the group.The bathrooms were good, & having a separate toilet was very handy. The youngest granddaughter had planned to soak in the amazing bath in the main house, but ended up being too busy with other activities.Being a gardener, I appreciated the landscaping and the obvious care taken to keep the plants looking good/healthy. Sitting in the comfortable chairs on the veranda is the perfect place for watching birds. There are several sturdy picnic tables & stools around the buildings suitable for having meals outside. During the months prior to our stay, I had many messages back & forth with Rachael. She answered promptly, was always helpful, and nothing seemed to be a bother to her. Good communication with the property Host is important to me, and Rachael was outstanding."

"Bed mattress and pillows good firm, bedside lights not repaired. Fridge good, supplies all good. Bathroom towel hooks farthest wall from shower. One power point on wall furthest from the mirror. Only saw one cockroach. Air conditioner very noisy, as were patrons outside."

"Excellent service. Good Value. The only minor issue (tongue in cheek) was whenever you engaged the Manage in conversation you needed 20 minutes. She was an Absolute Character. We would Definitely stay there again."

"The room was very clean but overall in a very tired condition, especially the shower. Although situated on a main road, it was quiet, which was surprising. The golf club is a 10min walk away & although also needs a revamp, the food was good & reasonably priced. They are currently renovating the restaurant at the hotel so it wasn’t open but hopefully once that’s done, they move onto the rooms. However I would definitely stay there again as it was convenient. "

"Overall the property was excellent, unfortunately arriving in the dark it was difficult to navigate one’s way around. Our cabin also had no wi fi at all and no signal for TV on last day "
