"Certainly one of the best accommodations I have stayed in. The location is quiet with a beautiful view. The lodge itself and the rooms are extremely nice with a cozy ambience. "Rooms were a good size and very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Lovely grounds and pool and play facilities for children. Located off main road, just outside main town, so would recommend a car to get to restaurants, shopping and beaches. "
"Booked to stay here for 2 nights after reading the reviews and we are so glad we did. From the moment we checked in and being greeted in the lounge with a drink and then being escorted to our room was such a nice touch. The grounds are beautiful and we wished we could have just stayed here for the 2 days and relaxed but we had plans in Knysna and Plettenberg. We had dinner in Zinzi and thoroughly enjoyed it and the breakfast was very good.
The best thing about Hunters is their staff though. I wish I had made a note of all the names but Golli who greeted us was so lovely as was Ace when we had drinks by the firepit. Our breakfast waitress was amazing too but I did not get her name.
We will definitely be back as loved the place.

"Wish we had been able to stay another night as we loved this place so much. It's in such a beautiful spot with spectacular views over the bay.
Reception staff were all so friendly and welcoming and we had a fantastic dinner in the on-site restaurant that night with great customer service too.
Worth noting, there is a fairly long and steep hill to the shops/cafes/restaurants in the town so if you had mobility issues that may be a problem (unless you were driving)."
