Top Great Lakes Hotel Reviews
Hilton Niagara Falls/Fallsview Hotel & Suites
8/10 Good
"Clean room"
Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls
8/10 Good
"First off, the view was absolutely incredible overlooking Niagara Falls. The hotel itself needs a refresh but compared to similar hotels nearby, it's substantially less expensive. A bit of a wait to check in, maybe 20 minutes or so. The staff were definitely friendly. The always-available coffee was nice. Would be nice to have a coffee machine in the suite too. We did not use the pool or hot tub as it was pretty busy with other families occupying the facilities. Having Applebee's attached and having discount coupons offered was a nice touch. They could certainly use a little more regular maintenance as we noticed a small bag of chips had been dumped out in the elevator that were still there the next day. When you start seeing that, it's easy to start noticing other deficiences and get carried away with cleanliness issues that you wouldn't normally notice. All in all though, we enjoyed our stay, loved the view and enjoyed a nice getaway."
Chelsea Hotel, Toronto
10/10 Excellent
"We had the best time at the chelsea hotel, while the rooms were a bit outdated, we fully enjoyed all the amenities. Having a four year old who needs to be entertained constantly it was a no brainer when we booked this hotel. She spent hours in the workshop playing with the toys. There was a character show and she even pet and learned about animals. Would"
Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview
10/10 Excellent
"Great View of the falls! All the amenities you need with 2 restaurants and everything else is very walkable!"
Toronto Don Valley Hotel and Suites
8/10 Good
"A bit dated, clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing. The older lady working in the restaurant was amazing. Pools were great. Close to train station. Would stay again."
Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is absolutely beautiful! And just across the street from the convention center! Our room was spotless, so clean and tidy. The restaurant serves an amazing breakfast buffet for under $30 per person.... well worth it for the variety and quality of the food. My only contention is that you have to pay for parking ($45 per night) which I've never ever heard of in the 50 years of my life. Apparently, most hotels in Chicago don't own their parking lots. They are owned by a separate company who collects their fees thru the hotel. For that reason alone I'm not sure i ever want to stay in Chicago again. I can find a million other places to visit that don't charge extra to park at the hotel. Otherwise, this hotel is very nice and clean and in an excellent location."
