"The property is exactly as pictured. It was clean and well stocked. The screened in porch was great to allow outside seating without being pestered by the HUGE mosquitoes. It was very relaxing to just sit anywhere on the property and watch all sorts of birds including eagles fly by all day. Whales and dolphins as well as all sorts of boats passed by daily. The dog horn in the distance was soothing. The island is beautiful with so much to see from black sand or pebble beaches to stark cliffs....

"Starfish Cottage was a perfect location and accommodation for an August get away. The views from the cottage are stunning. The screened in porch was a great place to hang out and for meals. The Adirondack chairs overlooking the water afforded several whale sightings. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the island -- the Roosevelt Park, the beaches, the carriage trails on bike, and the gold course. Looking forward to a return."

"Accommodations were clean. Great view of the ocean. Had a minor issue with the tub not draining well but owner had a plumber out the same day. Great communication. No complaints at all. We're already thinking of our next trip with family."

"This property was conveniently located 5 min away from the Deer Island ferry. Facilities were spotless. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything appeared brand new and of good quality. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were luxurious. Conveniently located to 2 of Deer Islands restaurants and Bellas general store. Excellent experience and highly recommended."

"We came up to Deer Island for a family get together in Lords Cove. The family house didn’t have enough room for everyone so we decided to look for a VRBO. We stumbled across this home and it definitely lived up to its description! Tanya was an amazing host who was very responsive. The house provided everything we needed and was big enough for the seven of us to enjoy a comfortable stay. We highly recommend staying at Naini’s rental when visiting Deer Island!!!"
