This studio is part of a larger private home. The studio makes up the entire lower level and is one large master suite. It includes a Kitchenette, a dining or game table, lounge area, Queen bed, and a nice bathroom, with a private entrance from the outside. The lounge area has a sofa and armchair surrounding a large HDTV, which is also ideally positioned for viewing from the bed. The entertainment center also includes a Blu-Ray player, a DVR, and a surround sound stereo system. The bed is a custom built Murphy bed, so you can easily get it out of the way once you're up for the day, or leave it out all the time - there is plenty of space. A Murphy bed is a real bed, and in this case, a nice mattress! The kitchenette includes a microwave, mini-fridge, an induction hot plate, toaster oven, coffee maker, and of course dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and silverware. The property is located just across Highway 34 from Shadow Mountain Lake, which means convenient access to the Green Ridge boat ramp. The home is just far enough from 34 to prevent any highway noise, yet still provides quick and easy access to everything in the area. Shadow Mountain Lake is less than a mile away, Lake Granby is only 2 miles, and Downtown Grand Lake is only 5 miles from your door. Dogs are welcome at this property, with a per dog per night fee, if approved in advance, but cats are strictly prohibited due to owner allergies. The main portion of the home is never rented separately at the same time/. The home is either rented in its entirety or only this studio space, never two groups at once. The main portion of the home will either be empty or owner occupied during your stay. Please inquire with us about pricing for your dates. I would stay here again! Joe's place was beautiful. Pros: Clearly hand-crafted studio and a cozy, cabin feel. The concrete floors were heated which was essential for our stay since it was majority 0 degrees F outside. Great, quiet, and safe location! Good price! TV w/ great surround sound, nice shower with hot water, comfortable queen bed! Joe was kind and personable. Was easily able to get in touch with the management team to add on our dog to the stay! PET FRIENDLY! Cons: There were three slightly different sets of check-out instructions (one from the cleaner, one from Joe, and one in an email from the property manager). Not that big of a deal, I just like consistency. The coffee maker wasn't cleaned (old coffee left in the pot), but that was more the fault of the prior guests versus the cleaning crew per the checkout instructions. ##### Cheyanna J. They have a nice kitchen where you can make most meals. Only 10 mins drive from town so easy to grab food though the neighborhood is long and would be easy to get lost in without GPS. I highly recommend this property it’s within minutes from Grand Lake town center. (Grab coffee at the local bakery). 30 mins to winter park and anything else you could need or want. The owner was awesome, kept it professional and even gave us some summer time fishing tips for lake Granby. The condo was clean and nicely updated. Entertainment center had a nice big screen t.v. along with an nice surround sound system. As always be careful driving in the winter, the roads to the property were plowed however there are some steep roads and sharp turns.
