Beautifully renovated home with breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake and the surrounding mountains! Nestled on over 3 private acres of land, this will be the perfect retreat for escaping the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoy the open layout with million dollar views and 4 bedrooms that comfortably sleep up to 12 (but can accomodate 14). The house is completely stocked with essentials and the entire house has been redecorated with modern mountain decor, new linens and towels, new beds and bedding and a new mattress in the master! We know you will love our home as much as we do! Up to 2 well behaved dogs will be considered with an additional $150 per stay.

Enjoy the beauty of the majestic Rocky Mountains and sparkling views of Shadow Mountain Lake and Lake Granby by the cozy fireplace in the gorgeous open concept living area or outside on the spacious deck. You're likely to spot moose, elk, deer, hawks, hummingbirds, and the occasional eagle. Be ready for AMAZING evening sunsets, then take in the starry sky on a warm summer night while relaxing on the covered upper deck by the gas firepit, down in the yard by the outdoor bonfire pit or on the lower covered deck in the brand new hot tub! (Hot tub use is optional and can be added to your reservation for a $150 servicing/cleaning fee).

In the summer, Grand Lake is known for its many outdoor activities including golf, fishing, sailing, motorized boating, water skiing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, hot springs & ATV trails. The West entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is also only 9 miles away.

In the winter, you are minutes away from 100+ miles of snowmobiler paradise in the Rocky Mountain National Park & world class ice fishing. You're also only 25 minutes away from Ski Granby Mountain (known for family skiing), 38 minutes from Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Resorts, and 1.5 hours from Steamboat Springs Ski Resort. There are so many things to do and memories to make in Colorado's best-kept secret! In winter, a 4-wheel-drive is required due to terrain.

The house is conveniently located just 5 miles from Grand Lake Village where you can enjoy the charming rustic town with wooden walkways, and plenty of local shops, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. In the summer you can rent a motorized boat, peddle boat, kayak, canoe or SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) to get out on Grand Lake!

Perfect stay in so many ways!

Megan and Dave are fabulous hosts. They have thought about everything you could possibly need. Great communication when we had questions. The kids loved exploring the property and adults enjoyed the fire pit every night to relax in the evening. Plenty of space in the kitchen and room for all at the table.

Spring Break 2025

We took out family to ski at granby ranch. We were extremely pleased with the looks and cleanliness of the residence. Granby was a quick 20 minute drive and the rocky mountain national park is onlu 10 minites away such a great location and we had such a great time

Wonderful Mountain Home

Wonderful vacation home with family

We met several family members here. The views from this property are spectacular. The home is beautifully decorated and has every amenity you would want in a home away. It is close to shopping in Grand Lake and secluded enough that we never saw anyone else. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if we return to CO.

Great views and great location!

We stayed in this beautiful house for a family gathering in Colorado. The house was spacious and clean and was a great gathering place for our family. We greatly enjoyed hanging out on the covered Porsche around the propane fire pit every night after our daily adventures. The hope tub was also great to relax in while looking at the amazing views of the local lakes. Would definately recommend this place!

Great property!

This is the second time we have stayed at this house and we will definitely consider coming back for a third. The house is spacious, well equipped and clean. The views are phenomenal and the location is quiet but close to lots of activities. One of our favorites!

Best yet!

We make it a priority to always have a winter vacation with family and friends. Many years we have came to Grand Lake. After our last house was unavailable for our time frame, we found this jewel! We all agree this is our new go to house. Everything was amazing from the views to the seclusion. We had three family’s on this vacation and everyone had their own living space while also conveniently being close ! We will be back!!

Annual ice fishing trip

Great property with plenty of space. Hot tub was very nice after long cold days on the ice. Winter was a challenge due to heavy snowfall the whole time we stayed and no plows came thru. The steep driveway and drifts of snow made it a little challenging getting vehicles to the house. All in all great house, clean, and awesome host! Definitely would stay here again.

Dream white Christmas vacation

Beautiful spacious retreat in the mountains. Amazing views. Plenty of nearby recreational activities. We went to the Fraser sledding hill, sulfur hot springs, and Rabbit Ears pass for snowmobiling. Great in the winter and would love to see the opportunities there in the summer.

Beautiful Mountain Home

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The home was clean, very well organized, with plenty of amenities and creature comforts. The home is minutes from Grand Lake. I referred this property to several friends and family that are looking for luxury in a nice quiet neighborhood. The hot tub and fire pit areas were very nice.

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful weekend at this home. We come to Grand Lake every year and wanted to stay off the Main Street this time but close to town. This home was perfect. The views are amazing in a quiet neighborhood with nature surrounding. Megan was quick to respond with any questions.

Best in Grand Lake

This was our second stay in 3 years at this home in Grand Lake. This home continues to be fantastic. The hosts are wonderful communicators and answer all questions very quickly. This secluded getaway home was a very spacious family friendly home for our family of 7 to stay in. The outdoor area, included a hot tub, fire pit, and deck were wonderful! The views were phenomenal! Quiet mountain retreat

This is a wonderful house to settle into with family or friends. It is close to outdoor destinations and has plenty of space to spread out if you just want to relax indoors. The kitchen is very well equipped compared to most mountain cabins. The coffee drinkers among us appreciated the high capacity coffee maker and large mugs. We also liked that the beds had multiple layers of blankets rather than a single large comforter.

just what we needed

My children and I stayed here for 4 days. It was perfect. We puzzled, sled the driveway, hot tubbed and watched movies. I cooked every meal at the house and found that they had every pot and pan that I needed! This was a perfect, peaceful winter getaway for us. We hope to make it back in the summer!

Absolutely beautiful home with stunning views

We had a perfect visit to the Grand lake area . It was wonderful watching the sun go down from the decks and enjoying the propane fireplace. The house is spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated . The owners were quick to answer questions before the trip and the rental proceeded effortlessly. What a treat! Thank you!

Best family house for everyone

Our family recently stayed at this incredible VRBO, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The location was absolutely perfect, making it an ideal home base for all of our family activities. The house had spacious and well-appointed rooms that comfortably accommodated every member of our group. The grounds were simply beautiful, adding to the overall relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for a better place to gather and spend time together. Everything was in great condition, and it felt like a true home away from home. Perfection!

Beautifully decorated and appointed, this spacious and immaculate home is a vacation dream. Every consideration has been taken from gourmet cooking utensils in the kitchen to white noise machines in the bedrooms. Plenty of room inside and out to gather, yet also nice areas like a hammock for quiet time. Deck on 3 sides with views of the mountains and lake. Very responsive host Megan replaced the appliance that broke down. Wildlife in the area too!

Beautiful house with amazing hosts!

What an incredible house in a winter wonderland. Stayed here with my family, my wife’s family, and our dog and it had more than enough space. We celebrated a belated Christmas and Megan was kind enough to leave their Christmas tree up for us. Working with her to ensure that we had everything we needed was a big part in what made our experience so great. She genuinely cares that her guests are taken care of (even though we were reaching out over New Year’s)! The views are also truly better than photos can capture and you definitely don’t want to miss out on the hot tub! It was the highlight for a lot of us. Thank you Megan and Dave, we will definitely be coming back!!
