The house has perfect location, but it it very, very tired. Master bedroom has two separates beds and other has only queen size bed that is old, loud and not comfortable to sleep. No grill, hard to cook in the kitchen.

Beachfront villa
Between San Agustin and Playa del Inglés. Right on the promenade so excellent for joggers/ walkers/ cyclists etc. Beach within 5 minutes walk but pool is great and very private. Rooftop terrace for beginning and end of day too! Car probably needed for groceries etc. but you could do without if organised.

A sorry house in a poor state and a owner who is hard to contact
Where do I start with this review? The problems started when I tried to contact Jose the owner, he just wasn’t replying to my attempts to contact him. Despite 2 messages (through VRBO own site) 2 emails and 2 Texts, the only time I could get contact with him was through my complaint to VRBO who contacted him for me, I had to do this twice. All I wanted to know was how to gain access to the villa when we got there and this was only managed 1 hour before we left for the Airport. When we did arrive, the directions were not all that clear to the Taxi driver, who had to ring Jose twice to find the villa and get the house number. The driver was more than a little peeved at Jose to say the least, but if wasn’t for this nice man going the extra mile, I don’t think we would have found it. Once we did get to the villa, we were left standing outside with our cases at 10.30 at night for 20 minutes as Jose (by his own admission) had been watching a football presentation on TV. Once we managed to get into the villa things got worse as it was obvious that general maintenance had been lacking for quite a while, but even more disturbing was the 4 dead cockroaches on the floor. We later found 4 more in the waste bin cupboard and 1 in the pan drawer, I also killed 2 running across the room. The Villa had a vile stench of a very strong insecticide which the owner told us came from the fact the Villa had just been sprayed hence the dead roaches. Lovely place
This is a beautiful villa in an absolutely perfect location. There is so much outside space and you can hear the sea. The owner left plenty of cleaning products towels and loo roll. Reviews that say it's a bit tired feel unfair to me. It's a period property and has a rustic charm. We will definitely stay here again

Great location but...
The location of this villa is superb, walking distance between St Augustine and Maspalomas with the promenade right outside the back gate. The villa itself is very tired, the kitchen especially. There is no air conditioning either and the two fans provided (one in living room and one in twin bedroom) were not sufficient, overnight it was very hot.

Great Location
Would I recommend? Yes. Would I go again? Yes. Impressions, I’m guessing that the photos were taken several years ago when first listed and now needs maintenance, the pool pump is very noisy couldn’t hear the sea couldn’t talk to each other when outside had to keep turning the pump on and off manually. I’m guessing from the looks of the timer is been broken for some time. Property is clean and tidy. Jose was very flexible on arrival and departure times. Location is great 2/3minutes walk to a sandy beach. 10mins to the shops 20mins to Playa Del Ingles

Post lock down rejuvenating break
Lovely quiet location with easy access to local facilities Property considerably tired and in need of tlc whilst comfortable aspects outdated and rickety Private heated pool disappointing this was a big decider in our booking this property as we both feel the cold, sadly so cold was only used on a couple of occasions so not for the faint hearted Overall though very private and not overlooked which was a big plus for our stay

excellent seaside villa
Stayed March 2022, will return September for another 2 weeks. The property is in an excellent position, out of the back door and you are on the promenade. Left for restaurants on the beach or the other way for the town, restaurants and entertainments. The villa has all you need for your stay. Minor points: The TV has only one UK news channel, the pool pump is very noisy with no shallow end for children.

Our second visit here x
We loved our stay on 2019 so booked again for 2020 without any hesitation. Everything was how we remembered and we once again enjoyed the great weather, the great location and the lovely beach-front house. Unfortunately, our stay was marred this year because the pool pump was broken and despite a couple of emails of hope from Jose, it sadly was not able to be fixed throughout our 10-night stay, meaning the pool was unusable. This meaning everyday I had to endure my frustrated husband moaning at me to chase for answers and timescales! I fully appreciate things can and do break down and Jose, realising our disappointment, has offered to refund us for three nights of our stay for the inconvenience, which we look forward to receiving in due course. This issue aside, we once again had a lovely stay in Gran Canaria - we did a week in a secluded beach destination before staying here and ended our trip with four nights in Las Palmas - in all, the perfect combination of very different types of stay and thus very differing experiences. We Look forward to planning our next GC adventure.

Met on arrival by Jose which was great even though our flight was early evening. Lovely location and great having the swimming pool which we used every day. property location nigh on perfect. Jose met us on arrival even though it was the early hours and our flight was an hour late. Property was clean. Kitchen a bit small and couldn't use hob and oven at the same time - but who wants to cook on holiday anyway. pool great and used every day, rooftop area great suntrap but also a light breeze most days, great as it was very hot. Gorgeous view and great family property
Jose was a lovely host.Very welcoming and went out of his way to make it a great holiday, even driving to the airport to return a mobile phone that had been left behind.The property is in a fantastic location easy walk to both San Augustin and Plays del Ingles.Very well equipped for families with an iron.hairdryer, oven and microwave and all the kitchen utensils you need.We really appreciated having washing tablets, washing liquid and coffee all there when we arrived.It was great to have lots of beach towels as it is a very short stroll to a number of beaches.Our children loved the pool and their water confidence has soared on holiday.The outside space is just lovely and so peaceful hearing the waves. My daughter loved the ping pong table too.Very handy for taking buses to other resorts on the island ,being 5 mins walk. All in all a great holiday in the perfect location.

Fantastic Break
Lovely property ideal for couples and small families. Jose is a wonderful host who meets you at the property on arrival. it is wonderful being able to lay by the pool, (although it was a bit cold for us) and listen to the sea washing onto the shore - very relaxing. 10 minute walk in either direction along the front brings you to shops and restaurants and twenty minutes takes you to the main very very large beach at Maspolomas ( which you can see from the roof terrace). if we return to Gran Canaria then Jose's proporty will be the first we look for if it is available.

Very Hard To Beat Villa
We have stayed in many villas before, from HomeAway and other agencies/packages, and this would be one of the best ones we've rented. There are many reasons for this which I'll go through: First is the location - right on the sea with access to beaches only a short walk away in either direction. San Agustin is quieter and Playa de Ingles a bit busier, both are nearby too, and a large range of eateries are available in both places (check TripAdvsior for advice on the best). If you like sitting in the back having a glass of your favourite tipple after the kids have gone to bed, with the tea lights lit (supplied) then you won't be disappointed. Secondly - you are met on arrival by the owner, José. This has never happened anywhere else! He gives you a tour of the villa, advice on the best places to visit and then leaves you to it. He gives you sparkling wine, fruit and sweets too as a welcome to his home - a very nice touch. Also the villa is well stocked with toilet roll and bin bags (both of which we've had to purchase after the only ones supplied were used up in other villas), along with laundry and dishwasher tablets. In fact, José has thought of everything you'd need (barring food and drink) and provided it - a very nice touch. The villa itself is small - ideal for us. It used to be part of a set of 4 identical apartments which was split up, (Google Earth users who can timeshift will be able to see this). This explains the pool - this villa has the deep end! It's a salt water pool, and you may need to keep an eye on small children around it (though a pool fence is available too). The kitchen is small but well equipped (an oven is now available too based - missing on an earlier review). The hot water tank is small (which is common for the Canaries), again the shower drains slowly (possibly the pipe is blocked with sand!) however this wasn't a problem for us. Upstairs is a sun-trap roof terrace and downstairs is a basement with a table-tennis table including bats and balls and dolls house, which my kids loved! The pool was a bit nippy at times - a suggestion for José could be looking into getting a quality pool cover. Other villas we have stayed in did have a cover and the pool was warmer in use. It'll save on the heating bills too! The pool cleaning guy comes regularly, and the maid weekly if requested on longer stays. Overall - if you are a couple or a small family of 4 or less then you won't be disappointed staying here!

Perfect place to chill and Relax
Villa was perfect for the two of us, right in the sea front and in the right location so it’s peaceful and relaxing, 5 min walk and you’re in local bars and restaurants in Playa Del Inglés, 5 mins the other way and you’re in the quieter town of SAN Agustin. Plenty to do and see or quiet enough to just chill and relax. Can’t fault it and will definitely be back again.

Exactly what we wanted - this house for us, ticked all the boxes we wanted and was worth us spending hours trawling the web to finally find it! Sea front, sunny garden, very private, very quiet, roof terrace , good WiFi, free parking and walking distance to bars/restaurants if you wanted them. The heated private pool was a bonus to our usual list of wants, but in the heat, it is the perfect antidote and we found ourselves using it most days. The house is very well equipped with everything you'd need, including hair-dryer, iron, washing machine, microwave, job, oven, kettle, etc. I was also grateful to find a UK adapter! The house is also very comfortable - you will likely doze off in any of the sofas or chairs, inside or out! In fact, the house was so comfortable that staying in was just as appealing as going out and the fact that your garden gate opens onto the beach path was brilliant for morning walks or runs - it thrives with people doing as such! We'd often have morning coffee 'up on the roof' looking out to sea and you feel very smug up there!! José was the perfect host, giving us a comprehensive tour and explanation of the house and facilities on arrival, but then giving us total independence throughout our stay (unless of course we needed him). The only visit is by a lovely man that comes to clean/service the pool and sweep the front terrace - he came twice in our 10 night stay. If I had to gripe about anything then I'd say the hot water was short-lived in one bout, but we got used to speed-showering, or showering at different times of the day to one another and the bed was a little on the small side for us (but then we have a super-king at home, so that's easily understandable!). Neither of these points in any way marred our satisfaction for our stay here and we definitely want to retun. We absolutely loved it; I'm typing this from home, in the freezing cold with a severe bout of holiday blues! Thank you José for the loan of your beautiful house we sure hope you'll have us back!

Winter paradise!
Lovely property literally on the beach with every facility you could wish for. Jose greeted us - even though our plane was delayed - with wine and fruits and sweets. We felt very spoilt! Accommodation includes lounge, 2 bedrooms, basement with table tennis, sun deck and a private heated pool. The garden was bathed in sun all day. Glorious stay, can't wait to return! Thank you Jose.

Great location, ideal villa and fantastic people
Having never used a site like this before I was slightly apprehensive about booking on my own. I really should not have been. The site made it very easy and answered any queries and concerns I had instantly. As for Jose he responded to questions and was really helpful accommodating to our flight times. The villa was perfect for us. Clean and welcoming with a great pool. The location to the beach shops and restaurants was excellent. 10 min walk maximum along a beautiful beach that was not over crowded. We all felt very safe and comfortable here. I agree with other comments that the shower needs fixing as the water drains very slow and the button comes off, but this would really not stop us coming again. We are already planing a return visit. Thank you Jose for your hospitality and for the big bowl of fruit left for us. See you next year!

Fantastic location, great place to stay
The location of Jose's place is amazing! on the beach front, the sound of the waves, 2 great sandy beaches within easy 5 minute walks, restaurants, supermarkets and bars within walking distance. We found this area busy, but not as ridiculous as Playa de Inglais (that I walked to a couple of times), which was a real bonus. The pool, though smallish, was deep and a great place to finish (or start) the day. Jose is a great host, the property was great with the pool cleaned twice while we were there. The only (small) downsides were the kitchen not having an oven, but we made do and the shower not draining away as quickly as it could (shorter showers than we would like). All in all a great place and highly recommended.

Fantastic location; clean and tidy; lovely host!
We loved the location with very easy access to beach and all amenities. The house was a good size for a family of four and had almost everything we could wish for (an oven would be useful). The outside living area and pool were amazing, we spent most of our time here. Inside the house could do with a bit of work, it was a little tired in places, but generally all fine. Jose was a great host and available whenever we needed him. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to friends!

Amazing villa with pool, right by the beach
Had an absolutely brilliant week staying in this Villa. José was very friendly and accommodating when we arrived, he even left us a bowl of fruit and bottle of cava! The villa was very clean, and the outside area is wonderful. The pool was a nice temperature and was cleaned during our stay. Lots of nice bars and restaurants within walking distance and also a little supermarket over the road. We would definitely return.

Beautiful villa in an excellent location!
We stayed here for 1 week before Xmas and loved every minute of our holiday. The villa was immaculately clean, well equipped with a salt water pool which was cleaned regularly. It was a good size for 4/5 people. Jose was a very good host, he left some very special goodies for the whole family which was very kind. He even went out of his way to provide a DVD player for my teenage son very quickly and was on hand 24/7 with my sometimes very daft questions! The area itself is beautiful and so near to the beach, the promenade is excellent to jog along in the morning and the 'better' restaurants just a 10 minute walk away. A supermarket is right on the doorstop as are some hotel café and bars. The Tropical Centre with it's amusements, Fund Grubbe, 2 restaurants and Chinese shops are very close by, as is the bus station. You don't need a car here but if you do hire one there is plenty of parking. Things to do: Hire a scooter, go karting, walk along to Playa Ingles beach and beyond, check out the street entertainers along the promenade, also the Chinese buffet was very good value for money. This is a lovely villa and we felt very safe here, we would love to come back and are already missing sitting on the roof terrace, wine in hand watching the sun go down. Book this villa you won't regret it!

Peaceful Villa within walking distance of shops/bars/restaurants
There were 3 of us staying and we wanted a holiday where we could relax around the pool during the day and then casually stroll along the promenade at night and find somewhere to eat. The location of the villa is excellent. Come out of the back and you turn left for a 15 min stroll to San Augustin. Turn right and you are into Playa Del Ingles and then Maspalomas (Maspalomas was a bit far to walk so we got cabs two nights to the Yumbo Centre (4 Euros each way). Whilst there were somethings that could have been better ( a more powerful shower / bigger kitchen), These points in no way lessened the holiday (still showered every day and as we were only using the kitchen for breakfast and lunch, it was more than adequate for us). Jose the owner met us and he is a lovely fella. He had wine, fruit and chocolates for us which I thought was a lovely touch. To find a villa that is on the sea front, with its own pool and is within walking distance of the eating/entertainment areas is rare in my experience but this ticked all of our boxes. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Fantastic villa
We really enjoyed our stay here, very quiet and private. Owners lovely. Pool brilliant which was cleaned 3 times during our stay, as was the villa. Just booked to go back in October. I would definatley recommend. Not lively yet short walk to all amenities

The house did not by far live up to the description, nor the pictures showed on line. The house is extremly small and REALLY DATED. The kitchen was so small, it was almost non existing, the waterboiler was broken, all equipment really old and it lacked a proper oven. The washing machine was so old that pieces of plastic was falling off when used. The floor in the shower was soft and bouncy. The pool was not run properly, so the water was not see through and the chemicals used were not the proper ones, so my hair turned GREEN! This house was definitly to small for 5 persons. The first thing we found in the house on arrival was a cockroach on the livingroom floor. Whatever you do, do not rent this place!!!

To high price for this old and worn appartement!!
Positive: Nice location/we also avoided the sandstorms!, pool pumpe was working!, the pool man did a nice job, only 5 minutes to the beach's, plenty of cabinets all over and we'll equipped kitchen, the dishwasher was also working! Negative: To high price for this old and worn appartement, the agent(owner?) didn't respond to any of our inquiries during the 7-8 months from we ordered -only the last day before our stay, poorly cleaned both inside and outside on arrival, there were an awful lot of mini-mini ants all over the place and all through our stay!, the kitchen is very small and very dark on the night's, to many keys to all the dif doors-we were handed a bundle of 10 keys and had to use 6 of them!, we had to beg for a second bundle and got the most of them after 3 days, the pool heater was not working although it was promised in the advertisement, there was a leak trough the bathroom roof during some heavy rain

El dueño no es serio. No responde a los mensajes. Hay plagas de cucas y hormigas. La bomba de filtrado pool no funcionaba. Sólo se limpió tres veces en las dos semanas que estuvimos allí. Las cocina extremadamente pequeña y calurosa, imposible cocinar en ella. Los muebles de la casa están para ser cambiados todos. Un desastre. No lo recomiendo.

INMUEBLE SIN MANTENIMIENTO Y CON INCIDENCIAS GRAVES
Lo único bueno del inmueble es su ubicación. Falta absoluta de mantenimiento en las instalaciones, se descolgó de la pared un aplique del salón, los colchones y somieres ruidosos y viejos, insectos dentro de la casa (especialmente arañas y cucarachas). Durante la primera semana de estancia no vinieron a limpiar la piscina y en la última semana se averió la bomba; 2 semanas de 3 con problemas. La policía irrumpió a las 9 horas a.m. un día por un salto de alarma pensando que éramos okupas. Tuvimos que identificarnos y aclarar con ellos directamente los hechos. Los propietarios ni se acercaron por allí. Muy caro para lo que ofrece. NO REPETIREMOS

Photos non contractuelles. Piscine non chauffée. Lieu vétuste. Propriétaire non consciencieux qui ne fait pas de check list du lieu et du nécessaire. Cuisine et accessoires en mauvais état, sale et gras. Mitigeur non fixé, frigidaire instable, clayettes manquantes, armoire de cuisine branlantes, poêles inutilisables, pas de verres à vin, peu de verres à eau, hotte branlante, réparée avec un morceau de scotch, lave-vaisselle qui coule dans la cuisine, pas de ciseaux, chauffe-eau qui coule, eau chaude brune, peu de lumière dans la cuisine et sur la terrasse, table de salon en mauvais état, pommeau de douche cassé, étagère sdb manquante, porte serviette sorti du mur, moustiquaire dans la "main room' inutilisable, ouverture du 2ème battant de fenêtre cassé, pas de tentures. Et pour couronner le tout, la poignée de la porte d'entrée nous est restée en main. Cette porte d'entrée a été fracturée et "réparée" (sic) avec un produit genre mastic. Pour info, cet appartement ne dispose ni de clim, ni de pompe à chaleur. Cet appartement est bien situé mais le prix de location est exorbitant vu le manque de confort et le peu d'attention dont fait preuve son propriétaire. Je ne recommanderai certainement pas cet appartement.

Tolle Lage - nettes Appartement, mit Einschränkungen
Eigentlich gibt es in dem Appartement alles was man braucht, leider sind aber viele Dinge sehr in die Jahre gekommen, bzw. fehlt es an manchen Stellen an der Liebe fürs Detail (oder die Reinlichkeit), während an anderer Stelle sehr aufs Detail geachtet wird. Als Bsp. steht vor der Haustür recht viel Gerümpel herum, in der Ecke neben der Pooltechnik steht ein ausrangierter Weihnachtsstern und die Umrandung der Pooltechnik ist kaputt (rostige Nägel...). Auch in der Küche hat der ein oder andere Topf keinen Griff mehr, die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet, aber recht in die Jahre gekommen. Im Badezimmer müsste dringend alles einmal gründlich abgestaubt werden (die Lampe, die Waschmaschine, das kleine weiße Regal, zudem läuft das Wasser in der Dusche sehr schlecht ab) und der Kühlschrank würde sich über eine Grundreinigung auch sehr freuen. Man darf auch ein Freund von Rollrasen sein, wenn man sich rundum wohlfühlen möchte - Fliesen wären durchaus geschmackvoller ;-)... Andererseits stehen auf der Terrasse sehr schöne Kerzenständer, die Kissenbezüge sind sehr geschmackvoll und auch sonst gibt es viele nette Details (bspw. der riesige Obstkorb + Sekt zur Begrüßung). José ist ein sehr aufmerksamer und netter Vermieter, der sich viel Mühe gibt und immer hilft (wir waren zu Beginn des Covid-Ausbruchs dort und in ständigem Kontakt), auch eine Reinigungskraft kam auf Wunsch. Wir haben uns trotz allem sehr wohlgefühlt, aber den Preis zahlt man in erster Linie für die Lage und den Pool und nicht für den Appartment-Standard, daher auch die 3-Sterne-Gesamtbewertung.

Der Vermieter hat zur Schlüsselübergabe 1 Stunde auf sich warten lassen. Das gesamte Haus ist in einem mangelhaften Zustand. Die Bettdecken waren mit Flecken übersät einfach ekelhaft, die gelben Sonnenliegen sind schwarz vom Dreck, der Rasenteppich draußen ist ebenfalls ekelhaft um nur 3 Beispiele zu nennen. Es gibt eine Überwachungskamera! Nachdem wir bei José reklamiert haben und ihm sagten, dass wir wieder ausziehen möchten hat er sich nicht mehr gemeldet. Ich kann nur jedem Abraten diese Objekt in diesem Zustand zu mieten.

I am very sorry about so many misundestandings.First of all the check in hour is always ay 17:00 and the guests were admited in the property at 14:30 pm. that is two hours and a half before the due time.My guests have always a free cleanning service for any need they could have.In this case the service was rejected.The house have security items that are activated by the guests only if they decide to use them.During the last weeks of February we suffered a few days of sand storm "Calima" that has been the worst in 20 years.For this reason it would be crucial that the guests had accepted the cleanning of the villa that I offered to them from the very first moment.

Gute Lage mit Wellenrauschen
Uns hat die ruhige Lage gut gefallen, Einkaufsmöglichkeit nur 1 Minute entfernt, das eine oder andere Möbelstück dürfte schon mal erneuert werden, insbesondere in der Küche.

Gute Lage aber sehr abgewohnt
Positiv: Tolle Lage, Dachterrasse, Tischtennisplatte im Keller, netter Vermieter, Alarmanlage, Geschirrspüler Negativ: beheizter Pool war nicht beheizt und nach drei Tagen sehr dreckig (der Poolreinigungsdienst sagte dass die Heizung defekt sei), die Pooltechnik ist sehr runtergekommen, die Betten sind Metallbetten die quietschen und die Matratzen sind alt, Lampen schief, Regale fehlen bzw. es sind nur noch die Halterungen vorhanden, defekte Fliesen in der Küche, keine Klimaanlage, Ausstattung für 4 Personen unzureichend, nur 2 Sonnenliegen, allg. sehr staubig und alles ist klebrig (putzen ist am Ankunftstag angesagt), alles in Heimwerkerqualität welche in die Jahre gekommen ist, Wasser in der Dusche läuft nur sehr sehr langsam ab. Also wenn das Appartement in einem besseren Zustand und sauberer wäre könnten wir es uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Im aktuellen Zustand würden wir es nicht wieder buchen.

wunderschön
ein gemütliches Haus mit einem schönen "Aussenwohnzimmer", in einer hervorragenden Lage direkt am Wasser. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Sackgasse, sodass man von dem Massentourismus nur wenig mitbekommt. Leider war nur der pool nicht beheizbar. Wir werden im nächsten Jahr wiederkommen

Toller Außenbereich, Meeresrauschen
Schöne kleine Unterkunft. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Außennbereich! Die Küche ist sehr klein, reicht aber für eine Ferienwohnung. Die Kommunikation mit Jose hat super geklappt. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Herrliche Lage, direkt am Meer
Die Villa liegt, nur durch die Standpromenade getrennt, direkt am Meer. Von der Dachterrasse aus hat man eine herrliche Aussicht. Jose hat am Ankunftstag einen Obstkorb und Sekt bereitgestellt. Er war als Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit. Wegen der Pleite von Germania konnten wir nicht zum geplanten Termin zurückfliegen. Ein paar Tage Verlängerung des Aufenthalts war möglich. Jose hat uns freundlicher weise für die restlichen 2 Tage ein Hotel gebucht. Die Villa wurde wöchentlich gereinigt, die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher gewechselt. Auch der Pool wurde laufend gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das "Masterschlafzimmer" konnten wir leider nicht nutzen, da das Bett für uns zu schmal ist (geschätzt 165 cm Breite) und nur eine durchgehende Matratze hat. Wir haben im zweiten Schlafzimmer geschlafen in dem 2 getrennte Betten vorhanden sind. Die Schlafzimmer befinden sich zur Straßenseite. Es ist recht ruhig. Man hört morgens höchstens mal die Müllabfuhr. Ganz in der Nähe der Villa befindet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt.
