She spent a long time on her phone arranging transportation for us for very early the next morning. The building is old, but the rooms were more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor veranda was a perfect spot to enjoy wine and cheese from a nearby grocery store."

There are lots of shops and restaurants in the area that you can walk to. I was a little worried about the video station check in but it was fine. "La struttura è apparsa scadente al primo impatto. Appena aperta il portone di ingresso abbiamo avvertito un forte odore dovuto all'umidità. Nell'appartamento mancava la luce nel bagno e la doccia era priva di una porta. iil WiFi non funzionava tanto meno la tv collegata al WiFi stesso. Le 2 camere erano prive di armadio e solo nella camera principale c'era una cassettiera già piena di biancheria mal tenuta. La separazione delle 2 camere doveva essere con una porta scorrevole ma la stessa era...

"This is a really lovely hotel. Full of character and history, but well refurbished. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, all of them. Our room, which was clean and comfortable, overlooked the inner courtyard and when we requested one with better light they saw to it quickly and efficiently. The first room had a walk-in shower, the second a bath (with jacuzzi) and hand-held shower, but the pay-off was two French windows and balcony. The breakfast buffet is astonishing: juice, fresh rolls, croissants, pastries, crispbreads, toast available, a good selection of cold meats and cheeses, boiled eggs, great selection of cereals and muesli, lovely fruit including fresh, dried and stewed (plus prunes - my favourite!), freshly made cakes each day, the list goes on, too much to list here. Wonderful coffee. The location was perfect for our needs: a 5 - 10 minute walk from the station and also from the old centre in the other direction. The beautiful Opicina Tram stops just outside. The wonderful Caffe San Marco is a stone's throw away. I can't fault any of it - highly recommended."
