Our family stayed one night in two double rooms, which were small but well kept. I found the beds a bit small for two people, though. There’s a small communal bath, and on clear days you can see Mt. Fuji from the hotel parking lot—it was beautiful. Fuji were majestic from our bedroom. The hotel is clean, quiet, professional and well-equipped for relaxing and seeing the area. Close to things to do. Note: if you arrive at the Gotemba bus station, ask the hotel to make arrangements for a taxi ride. There are no Ubers and no taxis that randomly pass by. We walked with our luggage to the hotel (approx. 15 mins away). Ok for us, but may not be ok for a family). It is easiest to arrive by taxi, but only about 10-15 minutes walk from a couple bus stops. It was about 15-20 minutes walk to good restaurants and shops.
