The location is convenient for driving trips to Gloucester and Rockport, as well as walkable to Good Harbor Beach. The only drawback on the latter is that the walk is down a street with no sidewalk so it’s not an especially pleasant walk - but it’s short, and the easy access to the beach more than makes up for it! The house and property would have been great for our group, had the upstairs shower been available(leak that was not fixed prior to our stay) and an electrical problem upstairs affecting the bathroom and one of the bedrooms, and upstairs AC unit. The downstairs(living room, bathroom, and kitchen) were nice, spacious, and comfortable. The wrap around covered deck was large and a nice sitting area. Living room has lots of space and seating to hang out in along with nice wraparound porch. Amazing outdoor shower! Great to be able to walk to two very beautiful beaches (about 10 minutes), especially since parking can be difficult and expensive.
