This is our second year staying at Gigi's place. It's such a great location and value. It offers everything we like during the off season without the crowds and is such a clean and comfortable place to stay.

The location of the property was great. Unfortunately the weather was cool and misting but that's Rockport in May. Consequently we spent more time inside than we planned. The living room furniture was not comfortable. All kitchen stuff was good and the bed was comfortable as well as quiet. Street parking was fine but this was off season.

Celebrating our wedding in Rockport!

We celebrated our new marriage this weekend in Rockport and everything was amazing! This place was the best location and very clean and comfortable. Will be booking again soon, perhaps for our anniversary next year!

This was an amazing and comfortable space. You couldn't ask for a better location, right on the harbor in the heart of Rockport. Gloucester is just down the road and that is a lively place. I highly recommend this space..

The apartment was very clean however, we did have to walk up a back all of a restaurant with the dumpster and a very steep stairwell to get to the apartment. There was a lot of noise from the restaurant at night but other than that it was very close to everything. They were very easy to get a hold of with any questions.

Nice little apartment

We were looking for a place with a central location so we could walk everywhere! We found it! Gigi was very helpful. We had a nice little kitchen so I could cook if I wanted to. We came to relax, and we did just that!

December in Rockport

We came to Rockport the first week in December for the Christmas tree lighting. The apartment was very nice. Charming, clean and well-appointed. The location was perfect by the harbor. Gigi was a blessing checking in each day to make sure everything was going beautifully. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rockport!

What a lovely place and location! The apt is adorable! My only issue was trying to get in. I became confused by the lock to the right of the door and tried to use that one instead of the lock on the door itself. This was clear in the instructions somewhere, but I had to dig to find it. That, and I wished there had been more pillows and blankets on the couch to make it comfy! There is one blanket in the bedroom, so I used that blanket and the bed pillows to make myself at home on the couch. Otherwise, a beautiful experience, and Gigi was awesome with communication!! Overall, a positive experience.

Exactly as described !

The host was super responsive and checked in often throughout our 4 day stay. While small, it had everything we needed and the location is top notch! Be certain you are comfortable navigating stairs. They are sturdy and I felt fine but they are steep- We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Gigi was a perfect host !

Lovely spot in a lovely town

We very much enjoyed our stay, especially because of the apartment's location right in the middle of all things Rockport. We were especially impressed with how responsive Gigi was to inquiries. There are steep stairs but I managed fine and I walk with a cane.

Harbor side charm.

This is a wonderful upstairs apartment with a small porch overlooking the southern harbor in Rockport. Great morning sunrises. Great location for walking around town and Bearneck, and for traveling to Halibut and Gloucester and surrounding areas. Very clean and Gigi was an amazing host. You get to the apt through a short clean alley between buildings but it was always clean and meant easy walking distance to some fun shopping and great food and incredible ocean views. will be staying here again.

Great place in Rockport!

Had two fantastic overnights here, great location within walking distance of a few beaches and many shops/restaurants. My only minor gripe with location was that it's adjacent/shares an alley way with a restaurant and we had to close the windows in the early morning since we could hear the back door opening/closing constantly. To be expected next to a restaurant but something to be aware of, the couch in the main area was also terribly uncomfortable, would like to see that replaced with an actual comfortable piece of furniture to sit and unwind on at night. All that being said, minor issues and would stay here again. The host had great (probably automatic) communications with us the whole time and felt very welcomed, there was also a great guide in the property on things to do and where to eat/etc. Had never been to Rockport before and would definitely go again!

Rockport Cape Ann getaway

We LOVED Harbor Retreat. Super clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay. AND right on the Rockport Town Wharf so you can walk to all the shops. We overnight parked on Norwood street and I highly recommend walking to end of Norwood St. the views and homes are stunning. Had we never parked there we probably would have never walked the neighborhood and missed out. There are small public footpaths clearly labeled too that will bring you to stunning views which were fun. If your not able to walk just drive Norwood Street and you'll see it all by car! Our GPS did bring us a couple streets away from Town Wharf so if that happens just put Town Wharf into your GPS and you'll figure it out where your supposed to be. Enjoy!
