Spend the day at the beach where you can swim, soak in the sun, or walk at low tide out to picturesque Salt Island. A ten-minute stroll in the other direction will bring you to Long Beach, often filled with surfers as they catch the waves. An ice cream stand, luncheonette and several roadside eateries are nearby. Prefer to stay at the house? Relax and read a book on its expansive deck taking in the views of the sparkling Atlantic with sailboats parading by. Inhale the fresh salt air, and listen to the muffled sound of the waves lapping the shoreline. Enter from the parking area to the home’s lower level. This level includes the entrance area, a spacious queen bedroom, full bath with shower, laundry room and a den. From here you can head outside to the front yard area or up the stairs to the main living space. The stairs open into a sitting room with comfortable sofas and large picture windows that look out over the expansive deck and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Walk into the next open plan room with another seating area and a flat screen TV, kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area and more picture windows and sliders leading out to the ocean side deck. This floor has two bedrooms, one a queen and one with two double beds, as well as a full bath with tub and shower. The home is exceptionally beautiful and in a perfect location for beach lovers, as it is only a very short walk to both Good Harbor Beach and Long Beach. The ocean, as well as Salt Island, is constantly in view from the large, comfortable deck and from the major living areas inside the home. As much as we loved it, families with very small children would find it challenging, as would anyone for whom walking is difficult, as the main living/dining/cooking areas are up a flight of stairs. If you have small children who are walking and reaching to grab things this may not be the best choice of rentals. The views are terrific and it is a short walk (5 min) to Good Harbor Beach. Beds are comfortable, 3 separate sitting areas and a large deck with comfortable lounge chairs to view the ocean and Salt Island. The kitchen is tiny but workable with toaster oven, microwave and oven. Huge round table with comfortable chairs for dining. Quiet neighborhood with friendly people and their dogs walking by. Quick walk to ice cream and subs, walk about 8 minutes to Long Beach as well. Love this place, we have rented it twice. ##### patty h.
